Would have been 5 but for 1 thing . So at the discretion of the camp manager toilet brushes are not provided . Leading to dirty toilets . Why why o why . I would put money on the manager having one in his / her bathroom I find it totally unacceptable that it's not possible for clients to leave the facilities in a clean condition after use for the next user . This is not right and the manager needs to rethink this and do the right think. There is an option to add photos but I'll refrain

A relatively small C & CC Site in the Delamere Forest. Friendly welcome, level pitches and facilities are okay but they need to level out the potholes.Easy access to the train station for Chester and Manchester.

Camped here for a week. Great location and very convenient for the forest and railway station. Very clean facilities as we always get with C&CC, including a family shower room. Main road can be a bit noisy at night if you get a pitch on the East side of the site, but this is drowned out by the honking of the geese on one of their regular evening low-level fights, lol. Only min or quibble is that pitches are quote small if you have a large family tent.

An absolutely amazing campsite with stunning and extensive forest walks, cycle routes and activities. Excellent rail links less than 5 minutes walk from site. One of the best railway cafes/restaurants I've ever been to with a fabulous selection of homemade cakes. Forest cafe ideal for families and large groups. Well maintained site, lovely staff, especially clair (without an 'e'), hot showers and a site shop. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

The wifi is pretty good, but it sometimes passes out.The pitches are spacy, which is a good thing. The restrooms are good in itself, but very rarely repaired or maintained. Dirt can be found everywhere.Additionally about the showers: - They work a bit weirdly: You press a button, the water goes on and heats up after a few seconds. Sadly the heat isn't on a constant value and gets too high sometimes. The shower turns off after approximately 8 seconds when pressed.ehhh I don't like it.the campsite itself is alright but it really needs improvement in their facilities

We stayed at a beautiful lodge in Delamere forest. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had the usual cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher and was well equipped with lots of cutlery and crockery. We had 2 bedrooms, the first had 2 single beds with wardrobe, locker and lamps the en suite had a built in wardrobe, locker and lamps. Both rooms had very comfortable beds we were also provided with had a travel cot.The livingroom was very comfortable with a nice view of the forest.Outside we had a bbq, table and chairs and a hottub.Every morning we were visited by 2 squirrels and a little Robin with the children loved. You could order breakfast and dinner via the app on the TV.There was a little play ground a few minutes from the lodge. A restaurant/shop. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We hired bikes for the day and toured the forest. The one thing I would suggest would be to stock up on essentials from a supermarket else were as the shop had limited items and were a bit over priced. Also a washer/dyer as it can get muddy during winter months and the option to wash and dry clothes would be good as we stayed for 7 days.Overall I would highly recommend a holiday here, it's peaceful and relaxing. I loved waking up every morning hearing the birds singing and in the evening sitting in the hot tub watching the bats and stars. The kids loved exploring the forest and making new friends at the near by playground.

We wanted a spot not too far off the M6 (✅) on our way South, combined with relaxing time as a family. Really pleased with Delamere overall, a great choice. It took us about 10miles away from the M6 and finding the site was easy.Great arrival, excellent big and wide pitch and a lovely site with a great little shop and all the facilities you need. Toilets and showers were modern and clean and we didn't find it too busy even though there were 40 arrivals on our arrival day.Wood fired pizza was available on the Saturday evening and was delicious. The site is located in Delamere Forest and has a handy access gate taking you into the forest trail. The forest is vast and has a range of walks and a lovely big visitor centre and cafe with great choice of food and drinks. Everyone there was really pleasant.Really pleased with this choice of sire, made all the better by the very nice onsite team who were a pleasure to chat to.

Lovely popular dog friendly campsite, electricity hook-up if required, extremely clean toilet/shower blocks, staff very friendly and helpful, a useful shop, and a treat on a Saturday night when the wood fire Van was there (check dates when booking), lovely walks in Delamere Forest, train very close for Chester or Manchester which you hardly notice is there, the train station has a lovely cafe, we also visited The Carrier Arms pub which was excellent.
