Tried the salon for the first time and was very impressed. I’m picky about who does my hair but the stylist (Amanda) really put me at ease and the end result was incredible. I was provided with excellent service which included refreshment’s and aftercare advice. I have already booked my follow up appointment and highly recommend to others

I've had a wonderful experience every appointment I've had with Amanda. My hair was a box dye dry mess with age not on its side. Amanda's expertise, experience and customer care at the Salon has left me with a beautiful even color, and healthy glossy hair. I feel a lot more confident managing my hair between appointments too. Emma did a fantastic job with my hair. She advised me on what would look good and even thought about ideas for my hair that would suit me. She made my experience really pleasant. Great experience all round! Emma was extremely friendly and professional. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and look at photos of hair colour that I had saved, and then advised me on what would work best. She did a brilliant job! Came out so much better than I had envisioned. I had full head of highlights which she matched perfectly to some clip in hair extensions that I had brought in. Highly recommend her and this salon! I’ll definitely be booking future hair appointments here. Very happy with the result :)

I am really disappointed with my experience.I paid £120 with a designer hairdresser (Caroline) and had my virgin hair highlighted and cut. I went for a consultation and they made me wait for 20 minutes after my appointment time, which I wasn't best pleased about but we all get busy. I initially asked for a balayage but after a consultation, the stylist recommended highlights - which I trusted her professional opinion. I stressed and stressed how I wanted it to look natural.Anyway, I turn up at the appointment time and again they made me wait 20 minuets, again I am an understanding person but this is still not professional. I had my hair highlighted and STRESSED again that I wanted it to look natural. The stylist suggested colours and I trusted her opinion but it did NOT end up like the colours or natural at all. (See photos below) I hated my hair and cried about it for days after. I actually called and left a message but they didn't call me back.To Darren's credit, I called again and they did 'correct' it for free. Now correct as in '' because it's still not what I asked for and I actually dislike my hair more now than before I went to Darren's salon which is extremely disappointing. I wish I never had it done. I'm just grateful that it's no longer orange/yellow.Also, you have to pay a £15 deposit fee which I will be asking for them back. I will not be going again, especially at that price.

Paid for the Redesign Package which claims to have a consultation in which the hairdresser discusses your face shape, clothes, style etc. Had a balayage and standard cut which wasn't great. There was nothing said about my face shape, clothes or style. They are also supposed to follow up with a phone call a few days following the appointment to check you are happy with the style but that never came otherwise I would have told them I wasn't. I was also given vouchers to give to friends but the expiry date on them was the date of my appointment?

After re-locating to the area and not knowing where to go, I tried here and have continued to go back! I have always had a great experience and everyone always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I have also recently been in to have the Fabriq treatment and I honestly couldn't be happier... I can highly recommend this! Thank you Amanda for recommending! I will never look back!

Yesterday was my first visit at the salon, I booked in for a colour correction as I have had many years of applying box colors to my hair!! My hair was BLACK!! I instantly felt at ease during the consultation with Amanda and Jen they explained the full process and I had a Malibu CPR service to remove the black from my hair. I am so happy with my hair, it feels brand new! The cut is beautiful and the condition is amazing, I love my new colour. I had a lovely day as all the staff looked after me making sure I was comfortable and kept me topped up with refreshments. I now have lots of knowledge of how to look after my hair at home.Thank you and I definitely would recommend
