Wow what a great experience!Shame about the other review, I only have positive things to say and Dean is a great teacher.I've never felt like I accomplished so much in one day.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting my paragliding licence with Dean, he's a laid back chap and has a very calming voice over the radio guiding you from launch to landing.His prices for the licence were certainly the cheapest for the distance I was prepared to travel, and with his background in the sport the lessons are very informative and safe. At no point was I afraid for my life.The area he teaches in is absolutely stunning and he has launches for all wind directions so if the wind and weather is right he'll make sure the cat's aboard, just remember to think about your flight and enjoy the views from the hill tops.The only thing I'd say that's slightly negative is the website states a reasonable level of fitness is required, some of the hills are almost mountains (whernside is part of the 3 peaks challenge), almost vertical and very different to walking on pavements so this should be considered when booking.

The Yorkshire Dales is just a fantastic place to learn to paraglide, or take a dual flight. Dean Crosby is one of the best UK pilots around and a brilliant teacher. He has years of experience. Rob Lund who takes people on dual flights delivers a memorable day, that you'll never forget.
