I’m very happy to be BCHA’s tenant. My contact with them has always been positive. They respond to the needs of tenants and care for their tenants. Moreover, they keep in touch with their tenants to check that everything is OK such as the gas checks are done and smoke alarms are working.

Birmingham Civic Housing Association
We have been with Civic Housing for more than 39 years. My house has been renovated with new kitchen and bathroom, also thermal boarded to insulate it in the last few years. Repairs are carried out quickly. The rents are reasonable, and the staff are more than helpful. We get regular updates on the staff and housing stock. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The contact number does not work and the mother and baby unit next door to this housing its not suitable for a mother baby or toddler as there are loads of hazards and the kitchen door handle has fell off thrre is no heating and the tv does not work as a result to this my sister is in her room and she feels like shes goin insane lookin at the walls all day this is not gud for 2 year old and there is no way of contacting anyone its like being locked in a box. This post is on behalf of my younger sister that is currently staying there.

I have lived in a civic house for 3years.They have been amazing and attentive to all their residents. I have been lucky enough to have a new bathroom, heating system, glass panels in all windows and replacement of fence panels. All problems and issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently and follow up calls have been made to make sure that I am satisfied with the work.I would recommend civic housing to anybody looking for affordable housing with an association who actually care about the wellbeing of their residents.
