Great 2 hour+ walk through Sankey Valley Park towards Carr Mill dam and around the lake. Great for dog walkers.

I have worked locally for a few years and didn't know this was here. Great place to walk the dog and there are interesting parts along the routes. Can get taken over by kids on bikes after dark but never had an issue.

It was the most remarkable and beautiful place I have visited and I've been to Shropshire. As the sun shone down one the gentle ripples of the pond, I contemplated happiness. All i could come up with was this very moment, the day my son was born, my wedding day even the day of my first orgasm where trumped by the unbelievable serenity and peacefulness of this paradise.

Dave is great he gives a great service to all the Scouts and Girl Guides. Sankey Valley is a great place to walk, and take in the history of the place. Five ☆.

Lovley park to walk round nice to a nice tidy clean park and all the wildlife although there was someone on a motabike going round today speeding along the grass at the top field as you walk through near the ducks and wasn't anybody around to tell them about it Shame to see someone spoiling it for everyone else! That's not the place to ride them! If anyone can do something to stop them! As it spoiled the walk round there today as I normally go few times to walk round there

From here cross the main road and start along the path heading through woodland and open fields with lovely views all around. You will eventually reach Nine Arches Viaduct. This is one of the earliest main railway viaducts in the world. Definitely worth a visit
