You go for a tatoo and you discover wonderful people ! Ultra clean studio, very cosy and a warm atmosphere. All the staff at Un1ty is dedicated for you to have the best tatoo experience.I came from France especially for Un1ty and Hanumantra and I will never go to an other place for a tatoo. Studio could not be better, quiet and relaxing mood with great hosts. Hanumantra and Jo's work is breathtaking and one glance at their art is enough to measure the outstanding quality proposed by Un1ty.

I was a tattoo virgin before going to Unity. The whole team and Benji made me feel completely at ease. From the moment I got there the experience has been surreal but amazing. Jo and I spent time discussing my options she was extremely helpful and kind. So far I have had three sessions and it looks fantastic, I can’t wait to see end results.Thank you so much !!!!

Un1ty exceeds all expectations.Getting a tattoo can feel like an intimidating process; getting tattooed in another country can seem exponentially more intimidating when you haven’t had the opportunity to see the studio or meet your artist in person. From the beginning booking process with Victoria and Matt (hanumantra) I felt extremely prepared though! They provide you with detailed information about places to stay, reminders on what to bring, and about the whole town. I traveled overseas from NY and felt welcomed from the moment I walked in; everyone there was was personable even though I wasn’t their client.I spent a few days in the studio getting tattooed by Matt and had the opportunity to meet the whole team. You won’t be disappointed with anyone you choose to work with here. My experience with Matt was one of my favorite I’ve ever had (I’ve been tattooed by dozens of artists, some regrettably) and there is so much attention to detail and passion about what he is creating for you personally. Drawn on at the appointment time to fit your form, not a pre-drawn design that may or may not flow. Not to mention proper aseptic technique, I work in a studio at home and stay up to date on my bloodborne pathogen courses so I always keep an eye out for improper procedures or cross contamination before I would give out recommendations. I can’t recommend Matt or his studio enough!

I have been working Jo at Un1ty since 2019. It’s the best Tattoo studio I have ever worked with. Jo’s approach is phenomenal - she listened to all the elements I wanted and we then worked to create a shared vision for the piece incorporating both our ideas. She considered practical things I had no experience of including body fit, ageing and healing, how it could be extended and added to while it working as a completed piece. The days being tattooed are a joy - super relaxed atmosphere, great environment, loads of fun with the artists and no pressure. Aftercare is second to non (email support, texts, photos etc for any queries). Vicky is always on hand to sort bookings and schedules as well keeping everything running smoothly. I walked in expecting to do a piece that would take 3/4 days. We are now over 20 and hope to finish the project next year! Check out the insta pages for Matt, Jo and Un1ty to see the quality of work. Matt is a fantastic artist and he creates wonderful pieces in collaboration with you and your body to give you something unique, spectacular and worthy of permanently adorning your body. I have recently started a large scale project with Hanumantra at Un1ty Tattoo. The service provided from the get go has been nothing short of First Class. Hanumantra's assistant Victoria has been sterling in providing all of the need-to-know information regarding sessions, booking process etc and even having appointment reminder information as well as detailed aftercare.Hanumantra has been incredibly descriptive of his process, informing me of each step of the project and why it is this way - the tattoo he is producing for me is immaculate. The first session consisted of a drawing day, it is a mesmerising experience to be drawn on as opposed to using stencils - he ensured that each element complemented my body and flowed as an entire piece taking into consideration my requests. The blackwork he has produced is some of the best out there and I honestly couldn't be happier. I can't thank him enough for everything he has produced for me so far and also for what is to come. Although I have not been tattooed by Jo, I would also like to mention that she really is one of the best artists out there - especially with scar coverups. Jo approaches these within ways that are unimaginable and the product produced is breathtaking. I would recommend anyone to visit Un1ty, not only for the incredible tattoos but also for the service provided. Thank you so much; I can't wait to be back.

Travelled internationally for Hanumantra's unique work and vision. The shop made making arrangements super easy and were friendly start to finish. The studio is a warm and inviting space and H and Jo are both personable and professional. Loved my time with them for the week, and enjoyed seeing Shrewsbury in the process.

From the beginning of this process, UN1TY have provided the custom and service that everyone searches for when considering a big piece. Throughout the design process, I was able to trust Matt to craft and create a unique leg piece that adhered to everything I asked for. The actual process of tattooing was relaxed, casual and professional all at the same time. Matt doesn’t rush through his work to ensure quality never alters. Not only this but the entire piece was crafted through free-handed drawing which is an amazing skill in itself. No templates/stencils etc. Despite it being a large piece, I felt at ease the whole time as Matt was incredibly easy to talk to and genuinely interested/invested in his customers. So much so that on my return many months later, he remembered small details that I had previously mentioned - holidays etc. Pricing may be on the higher side in the market but you 100% get what you pay for. In my opinion one of the best in the country and for anyone serious about their body art, this makes it all worth it. Finally, the actual environment feels completely calm, relaxed and most importantly - clean! Their brews are also top quality!
