Stanmer Park Nature Reserve
Easy parking, large area to explore, lovely gardens, 3 tea rooms/coffee shop, clean toilets, lovely place for a relaxing afternoon. Highly recommend. Looking quite festive at the moment.

Stanmer Park Nature Reserve
Lovely area to walk and explore. Various places to get refreshments as well as toilets and once your away from the car parks or village you can walk for miles without seeing another person. Superb areas for the dogs to run.

Next to University of Sussex, the bluebells season in April is very beautiful. One of the happiest things in life is to lie on a meadow on a sunny afternoon.

I came here in the 90ies a lot when I was a kid when it was a working farm , since then it has been developed with lovely paths , cafes etc . Weekends it’s really busy but you can still go for longer walks to get some space away from the crowds . Really dog and child friendly, along with trials for running and hiking too .

Lovely woods, with bluebells in April-May on the high ridge behind and to the south of the main house.Good areas for picnics and gatherings and rambles or a bit of biking or hiking.Ample paid parking, lovely sheltered garden and good café. When we were at the restaurant it was a bit slow on service due to staff shortage, the food is good. Recommend the scones.

Beautiful places to walk. We visited on Sunday 2nd April and there were stalls selling a great selection of items including unique pictures, wood carvings, candles and diffusers. There are a few eateries/bar/coffee shops, plus toilets. We went hoping to see the bluebells but we're too early in the year as they were only just starting to bloom. Still a gorgeous place to visit, really peaceful. Plus, there were loads of amazing dogs!
