Popped in for a short rest while travelling, quiet but that's to be expected as it was a Monday afternoon and not that long after lockdown lifted. Landlady most welcoming, toilets clean, and a lovely sunny beer garden out the back to enjoy a shandy. Fingers crossed I'll be back this way another time.

Since the new landlord took over the service has improved, the beer tastes better. Changes are happening for the better, simole things like decoration and tidying up. Very dog friendly, even supplied some free dog treats. Highly recommend this place.

Visited a few years ago, wasn't a very nice experience.Visited a couple of weeks ago, new landlord & lady, both really friendly and welcoming. Pub is cleaner, generally seems to have a better atmosphere and the beer selection is excellent, probably the best in town. Will definitely be coming back!

A nice pub, the locals are a friendly bunch. Used to have a great range of beers and ales but sadly no more. Now sometime none at all! However apart from that good. Lots of TV screens, busy on a Saturday night!
