The food is amazing a very classic Chinese Takeaway, worth it just for the prawn toast, best prawn toast I have ever had.

Excellent food at reasonable price. We have had our twice only but always excellent.Had quite a wait on news years eve to pick up our pre-ordered food but it seems there was a glitch with online tool.Would recommend any time!

What a shambles!We ordered our take away on New Year's Eve, using the all eat" app.You select your collection time

Ordered at 6.30 by phone, told collection at 7.30 . Arrived at 7.25 had to wait until 8.15 to collect my order as there was already 12 people waiting most was told collect at 7.30. Got my order home. No sweet & sour sauce for chicken balls. Also as we spent over £10 & £20 we should of received fortune cookies and 10 spring rolls free. We spent £51.00 These also wasn’t in our order .As we were in lockdown they only took cash no cards . Which I thought strange as it’s non contact payment !!Won’t order from them again

We ordered for the first time.The food is tasty and delicious.The place is very tidy and nice.It gives me very good impression.Highly recommend.

The current owner has turned this place into an absolute gem. Easily one of the tastiest and most consistent takeaways in Walden.

Just passing through Saffron Walden, staying at Premier Inn, not wanting to eat in, chose to visit Saffron Walden Chinese Take AwayVery pleasant Lady on desk, ordered my meal, found it to be superb, will pop round again if in the area.

Previously had a takeaway from here a couple of weeks before and it was delicious, so I decided to come back again.....this time was a completely different experience. In fact a never got to eat it this time as the service and organisation was so poor that after waiting for so long I cancelled my order. There problems start with the online ordering. They had taken so many that text messages were being sent out. I had arranged to collected at 7pm and told to collected at 8pm. Was told atmy food would be another half hour by this time the police had walked in and told them that we should all be outside in the rain! By 8.40pm, people were getting restless some had already paid and asked for refunds. I asked about my order, it hadn't ever started to be cooked, so cancelled it. They really need to stop the online ordering and concentrate on phone orders. If you order over the phone you can only pay in cash, so would suggest to them (if they are reading this) to invest in a contactless card machine. In this day and age it is very simple to set up. They do wonderful food but are seriously lacking in organisation. The only person to get any credit is the young lady on the counter, who had to take a lot flack, whilst the owners hid in the back.

June 2023: Friendly service, good portions and tasty food. Typical traditional 'British Chinese' takeaway. The satay chicken skewers were excellent!September 2023: We've continued to use this takeaway this year and have been impressed with the consistent quality they've maintained! Have worked through a lot of the menu now and nothing has disappointed. Best Cantonese-style baozi we've ever had outside of HK.

Good food. Only had a takeaway twice but both times we've been pleased. New year's Eve was a bit of a fiasco (waited an hour and a half for food) but more down to the ordering app not limiting the number of customers than the restaurant themselves.
