Good place. Nice bunch of guys!Very helpful despite being very busy.Not a massive amount of stock in the shop, but they've got practically every size and shape of wood that you could ever need. Guess it's in the name, Bridge Timber.

Very disappointed having been in today. Have a number of timber jobs coming up in the area so wanted to support a local business as opposed to the big corporates. Went in to get a 6mm MDF board cut down with ten cuts. Was told that it would be ‘too time consuming’ and that they couldn’t help. I offered an additional £10 on top of the board cost (around £25 I assume) to cover the extra time and wear on the blade and was simply told ‘not happening’.Ended up having to make a 45 minute round trip to B&Q in St Helens where they were happy to oblige, and offer up to 15 cuts per sheet free for a trade member, which I am. Took them less than 10 minutes to do the cuts that I’d offered Bridge Timer £10 extra for.Difficult to support local when they won’t take your money!
