Appalling service. They didn't even realise I had made an order until I called 40 minutes after my delivery time stated it would arrive. Got a call back after 10 minutes apologising for the delay and saying that the food will be right out for delivery and should be 15 minutes and they would give freebies to compensate. 40 minutes later I called again for an update and they said it was being delivered. Waited another 25 minutes but no one came and tried calling again but no one picked up. At this point it was too late to order from anywhere else. Very disappointed.

Ordered my food before 1 am came at 230 am.i ordered mixed doner in pitta it came on a bed of cold hard chips with no chicken meat. My partner she ordered 10 hot wings she got 5 cold and to top it all massive black hair on chicken .I was warned not to eat here but we had a night out and was hungry so just thought we would try as couldn't get delivery anywhere else. Trust me when I say this do not eat at this restaurant the driver that delivered food was totally ignorant, I know lots of people who have used this place in the past and say the same ,so how it's got good reviews is seriously questionable. The food went straight in the bin totally inedible.

If it was possible to rate lower I would, believe it or not but it had taken almost 2 hours delivery we have rang the owner multiple times and every time he said it’s about to leave, states that they only have one delivery car which is appalling for a takeaway company to think that they only have delivery driver. When the food got here it wasn’t hot it was the smallest bit warm I ordered hot flavoured chicken it was mild not hot and slimy and very small and didn’t look appealing ordered two peri peri salted chips only one was and they were Cold. Was about to try the side sauces to which there was a dead fly on top of the lid, thankfully wasn’t in there but it would put you off if you saw a dead bug by your food items anyway. The only positive thing that was about this order was the person over the phone apologised multiple time but that unfortunately was the only good thing that happened with this order. Most likely will not order again.

From the last 3 orders I've been given less change that I've asked for. All in all they have taken over £4 off me. Also I've asked for chilli and mayo on my wraps but been giving dry food with no sauce. Also I ordered spicey grilled wings, no spice. 100% not grilled and such a small portion for the price I payed. I would never recommend spice village to anyone.

Order arrived after 2 hours. I ordered grilled fish and it came fried fish instead. Salad was missing and restaurant never answered the calls from me or from deliveroo. Avoid

One of the worst experiences I've ever had for ordering food.In the end, the food arrived 3 hours after I had ordered. During which, at no point, did they make the effort to contact me to inform me of the delay. Instead, I had to chase them. To the point where they stopped bothering to answer my calls and I had no idea what was happening with the food I had paid for.The food eventually arrived at 10pm (after ordering it at 7pm), to which I told the driver to return the items as they were no longer required (we had to pick up food from somewhere else).

We order from here quite regularly and the guy who normally takes our order is nice and good service but today when I went to order it was like I was getting passed from person to person. There was a guy who can't speak English to save his life and left us on the phone and went off. Guys you lot need to get a fixed person on the call who can speak English instead of a rude person who will chase your customers away with his tone and attitude

I placed an order and I was waiting outside for half an hour, when I called the owner I believe said that the driver had been waiting for long outside and he left as he “couldn’t see me” I was waiting there the whole time and there was no driver around. I asked him if he could please send him back and he wanted to charge me £5 on top, I refused and at the end he accepted to send him back, however I was waiting for another half an hour and the driver didn’t come when I called him back he said that the driver was waiting in the same spot and left again because he couldn’t see me, he was taking the piss out of me all the time and he didn’t send no driver back. I will get my money back and I won’t even think on ordering or getting nowhere near this place.
