The Hair Business Of Cowbridge

I went twice and had 2 different colours of highlights and was charged accordingly. Today I had again highlights done with 2 colours only but was charged for 3 colours. I was told that's for the extra time because my hair are so thick. Well, I didn't suddenly grow thicker hair. I had the same thick hair the other 2 times I went there. I feel really ripped off. This time at least it was warm in there this time and I didn't shiver.

In case it is of any use to future potential customers, please be advised that the hair colour used in this salon is only expected to last for three weeks. Having been recommended this salon and being new to the area, I was surprised at how quickly the colour was applied (compared with my previous experience), how many times I was recommended the three-week T-colour top-up and the final cost of the visit. Not pleasantly surprised! Within two weeks, the colour had faded and roots were apparent.

Fabulous service! From the latte to the hair wash everything about it felt 5* and I would definitely return!

The Hair Business Cowbridge is the best hairdressers Ive ever been to. Ive had my hair done now by Macsen, Sophie, Leah and Beth and everytime Ive been made to feel welcome and understood. Im neurodiverse so I can find hairdressers overwhelming but they've created such a lovely environment. And they care about their clients so much. They dont gossip or moan. Theyre just lovely. Im so glad i have finally found a hairdressers I know ill be with for a very long time. ALSO my hair has NEVER looked so amazing...i get compliments on its health all the time.

My husband's name appears above but I was the client who visited The Hair Business in Cowbridge and received such an excellent service that I felt I should review this salon. My name is Lyn Jones and went to the salon to have expert help with having my hair styled and cut and a treatment due to ill health with on going thyroid issues.Jayne the senior stylist was wonderful, she talked me through all my concerns and how I would like my hair styled and cut. She did an amazing job I looked almost a different person leaving the salon.In only two days I have had several compliments about my hair and the results have been quite amazing. I can certainly see why the price tag is quite high because you will receive nothing but the best personable service as she is a senior stylist.I am retired now so I would sincerely like to thank Jayne and for her to continue to cut my hair,however it needs cutting every 6 weeks so unfortunately I will have to visit less regularly then I would wish.This salon ticks all the boxesLyn JonesVery Happy Client

Wow hair business . Arrived for a colour at the door today in Cowbridge just over 5 minutes late. The first time I have ever been late as I couldn’t park. Took my time getting up the stairs, find them fairly difficult to navigate,I then had my coat taken away and shown to a chair . Abruptly told they could not do a full colour as I was 15 minutes late !! I declined to have anything else done and left . Amazing , especially as it has not been known for me to arrive on time and shown to the seating area to wait 20 minutes or more to be attended to . I think a course in customer service would not go amiss .

Excellent salon staff are very friendly. George is amazing and really looks after my mum thank you all. I would highly recommend to any one looking for the full hairdressing experience of being pampered along with excellent customer service.

Had my hair cut by Owen who was clearly knowledgeable and skilled and listened to what I wanted. I'm very happy with my cut

Recently moved to Cowbridge and visited the salon for a wash and blow dry based on the good reviews on google! I’m really glad I did - the girls are all so friendly and professional. The salon is really lovely and it was a really nice experience overall! Look forward to returning. I had Sophie do my hair and she was so lovely - thank you :)

I’m new to the area and visited this salon after a friend recommended it to me. Safe to say I was not disappointed. All the Staff are very welcoming, I had my hair done by George, she is amazing and very professional.
