I didn't know these places still existed. Amazing hardware store, with everything inside. It's worth a visit even if you don't need anything, I bet you buy something as well.Great to see and long may it continue.

Great store got everything.. Hardware, home ware, kitchenware, gardenware. The prices, choice and quality of products are usually better than Wilco/b&m/homestore/tesco. Just bought a really good frying pan for less than any of the other stores but much heavier with much better handle.

It's unfair to suggest, as others have, that all Stermat staff are rude and unhelpful, but most of the ones at Valley certainly are, particularly the older women and all of the men and the youngsters are copying them.The other day I went to buy some anti-weed ground cover sheet and as you're not allowed to cut it yourself (for obvious reasons), I looked around for an assistant to help me.I found two elderly ladies" busy taking stock together and asked if there was anyone available to cut the sheets for me and the look that one of them have me

I would say this place has basically everything for DIY projects but also for low-priced basic tools like tape measures and screwdrivers, not to mention the garden centre. Very good shop.

This place has everything you need and more. Unfortunately you go in for one item but end up with ten. Also I must say the prices on somethings are amazing. IE. 10mtr ethernet cable £3.99 Argos £13.49. You have to search around s bit but we'll well worth it.

Stermat where i visited was an extremely good shop for any kind of household / Garden / Camping Equipment / Tools & loads of other bits & bobs anything you need i should imagine they will have it in
