Barchester - Ritson Lodge Care Home
Me and my 2 boys visited ritson lodge today for stay and play group. I was nervous before going as was our first time, but we were warmly greeted at the entrance, and instantly felt welcome. Staff and residents were all so freindly , and the atmosphere was very calming and relaxed. The kids had toys and snacks, and were made a fuss of. I'm really impressed with the facilities I got to have a peek at , which included 2 beautiful dining areas, an on site tavern complete with bar and pool table and garden, and even a cinema room!Everyone was so happy, we were absolutely spoilt and we are looking forward to next stay and play!!

I attend toddler group at ritson lodge with my little boy, it's so lovely tosee all ages interacting, having biscuits and drinks together at snack time, meeting the managers tortoise that she brought in for everyone to enjoy. The smiles on everyone's faces says it all. Staff are awesome and very accommodating

Just visited for Ritsons 10th birthday celebrations with the Vibettes as the entertainment. The decorations, music & staff created a lovely, lively community atmosphere. Rita and Emma greeted everyone with a smile and were attentive to residents and guests ensuring everyone had a seat and ample refreshments and cake!The vibettes had the residents singing and dancing along to familiar songs from the 40s and 50s - a lovely morning together.

Where do I start? Emma the activities assistant is just the most nurturing loving carer I've seen. The home has recently been the center of attention due to one resident turning 102! The whole local community all came together.. she received over 300 cards! The other residents were so emotional with the bond of them all being so obvious!The care home looked immaculate the staff were genuinely so so loving and kind towards all the residents. I genuinely couldn't fault a single thing. Well done all of you especially Emma you're all worthy of some sort of kindness medal. Just AMAZING!!!All our love the mardle family ❤️

I came on Saturday to ritzen lodge care home Christmas fayre and it was amazing I was a stall holder and it was one of the best events I have been to the atmosphere was amazing so was the staff and costumes can’t wait till next year everyone should be so proud x

Came along for the tenth birthday celebration. We were welcomed with tea and cake and sang a lovely little repertoire of pieces led by the Vibettes. The staff ensured everyone was comfortable and well looked after. Looking forward to the open day!

Came today to the opening of the coffee shop. What a lovely home this is and what a fabulous idea the coffee shop is for both residents and local people. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the cakes were lovely and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Will definitely come again

Today the 4th of March 2023, I went to Ritson Lodge Care home at Hopton on Sea , Great Yarmouth.Me and my family had an Amazing experience in the morning for a new reopening coffee shop.The atmosphere was great and the place was full of people enjoying coffee and cakes.The staff displayed in a very good way all delicious food that I tried.They were very cordial and friendly.I suggest to anyone to come during any open day and explore their kindness and see beautiful home.Pietro
