Absolutely stunning garden!! It does get crowded but you can relax here and see beautiful flowers, architecture and a lovely little river. I spent way longer here than I had anticipated and loved every minute. Must see if you're in Canterbury!

A very peaceful and serene place to walk, sit, and soak in the sunlight. I went there for a morning walk and experienced the fresh fragrance of flowers. Then we went there with our daughter and she had a fun time playing around the trees. It is a well maintained and clean kids friendly park. It's a must if you visit Canterbury.

We were not able to visit all the areas of the gardens but we had a wonderful time. It is Autumn and the colours of the trees were beautiful. It was so special to see the Baobabs Plane Tree which is approximately 200 years old.We will visit this garden over the various seasons to experience the changes.

This place always have beautiful surprises especially when you come during summer months. Flowers ate grown along the bank and inside their gardens, making it a fairytale scene. You can join some boat tour so you can see the garden from another angle. But just walking along the river is such a joyful sight.

Being a resident and tour guide it's the perfect place to sit and while away an hour or two, watching the punts on the river and people taking selfies in the Garden. All year the seasons create a different ambience! The flowers in the beds are refreshed on a monthly basis by the City Council and so often look very beautiful. In the snow it takes on a special charm.

Such a beautiful and peaceful garden. Picture postcard perfect. It features a Baobabs (oriental) Plane tree that is thought to be the oldest in UK at 200 years old, with a trunk girth of nearly 9 metres. From this species the london planes were hybridised. Part of the Queens green canopy initiative, one of 70 ancient woodlands and trees as part of her Platinum Jubilee.

One of the most beautiful spots in all of canterbury. The perfect spot for a picnic or walking around. It is absolutely gorgeous all year round and has many photo spots. A great place for a morning run or just a casual day out, there are many beautiful historic scenes to see. There are several activities to be done ranging from tours to river punting on a small row boat like you're in Venice.A FREE must visit garden if you're ever in the area.
