Very poor service towards end of tenancy, didn’t attend or reschedule missed end of tenancy meetings we organised. Takes a very long time to get an answer or response if you get one at all.Very expensive for what you get, and the final moving out bill was outrageous. May have been able to discuss it or plan better but as stated above they didn’t attend or reschedule our appointments.Very disappointed in the end.

All private land so no parking for visitors to 7Brothers etc. Shame as it looks to be a nice area now it's finally been developed. £100 parking fine in place. Just hoping that the few minutes I spent checking with the barstaff doesn't constitute 'parking'. They recommend parking at sainsburys and walking back but that just doesn't work when you have disabled passenger with you. Ended up leaving and spending my money elsewhere. Definitely a missed trick only catering for the immediate community.

Mostly new looking flats but the canal at this section was tidy and pleasant. Only 1 small cafe that was full, one pub that didn’t open till 4pm, but had nice staff and beer! And a small Co-op. I was there sketching, can’t see it being worthy of a visit really, unless visiting someone who lives there. Or interested in canal locks although there is no through route to anywhere for boats.

Manchester actually has a lot of great places to live. There is only one designated heating company in this housing estate. The heating bill is almost doubled, and more importantly the apartment requires residents to pay a higher percentage of efficiency loss, which is very unreasonable. The quality of the apartment is not very good, think carefully before moving in.

It's a great place to walk past if you're one side and want to get to the other. Here's a photo of my feet.

Unfortunately we have had nothing but issues since signing the tenancy agreement. We weren’t allowed to move in for 3 months due to “maintenance” but have moved into a flat where practically nothing works - so far we’ve had leaks in our electric/utility cupboard (which can’t be properly fixed), problems with our plumbing, washing machine, air filter etc, and our patio door was broken (wouldn’t lock or close). It took 10+ days for our patio door to be fixed, despite the fact we are at ground level and anybody could enter the flat. We were told this was not at an emergency and had to spend the first weekend living in the flat guarding the door. We were also reassured there were no break ins at middlewood locks - that night the car park below us was broken into. The customer service we have received has not improved after this - staff can take weeks to acknowledge issues and are very disorganised in resolving them. We also weren’t informed that staff were allowing tenants to use a fire exit next to our flat as a main entrance (pretty sure this isn’t legal) meaning we have no privacy. This was conveniently never mentioned during viewings, signings etc. The gardens are maintained terribly and the canal is covered in green moss and algae (looks gross). I work in housing and am shocked at how poor get living have been as a landlord. The accommodation is expensive (overpriced) and there really is no excuse for the issues we’ve experienced. I wish that I had never moved here .
