Lovely midweek breakfast, would highly recommend the bobs famous fry! Coffee well made with good quality beans. 10/10 makes a great addition to the wakefield area!

First time going to this establishment today, and it definitely won't be the last.I went with a customer (I work with adults with learning difficulties), and the staff member Ellie was so very patient while we tried to choose what we wanted, so much to choose from, and it all sounded amazing. In the end, he chose a bacon sandwich with hot chocolate, and I got the BERT’S VEGAN/VEGGIE FRY. Both meals came out very hot and extremely tasty.The most important thing for me is the way my guy was treated. They treated him with care, consideration, and so much patience. He was talking about how nice they were for the rest of the day.So do yourself a favour, go in enjoy some amazing food and get treated really well.To all the staff... thank you so very much. And very well done.Special thanks to Ellie and Chris ❤️

I have been in a few times and I am not disappointed. I have had a few paninis and also breakfast wraps with hash browns which were very tasty. But the menu is rather small and lacking variety and also expensive. The breakfast wraps are very well priced for the size of them. The coffee is good but not quite as good as Costa, and the staff are some times a little slow at making them. But the customer service is excellent and I will keep returning. I do recommend Bob & Berts. A good coffee shop over all but expensive hence only the 4 star rating.

Great new cafe in Wakefield. Stayed here for breakfast and lunch as managed to bag a table to work from! It comes equipped with plug sockets, usb sockets and very comfy seats. Perfect if you need to do some work not in an office or at home. Staff are friendly but some are a touch new so not very comfortable with the menu or till. Food was good though. Coffee is really good too. Overall a nice atmosphere and jaunty music.

£7.50 for what is quite honestly the worst presentation of food I have ever seen. Zero value to be seen on the plate and all just seemingly thrown on with a lack of effort. The toast was cold, bacon had a rubbery texture and the eggs were disgusting.£4.60 for a Mocha that was like drain water. The milk hadn’t seen a steam wand in its life and was far from aerated, chocolate powder clumped together at the bottom of the glass and the ‘proper coffee’ truly tasted like ash.I had high hopes for the new store and was looking forward to a refreshing change for the food scene. But just like everything else in Wakefield, I was left with nothing but disappointment.

Very friendly staff great atmosphere food ok nothing special bacon dry eggs way overcooked toast cold. Also I asked for a Pot of tea which filled one cup no hot water to get a second Cup .Also way overpriced.

Popped in here with my daughter spent £17 on a smashed avocado breakfast and a kids pancake. Atmosphere was lovely. Service was good however, when the lady took my plate away she asked me if my food was OK, to which I replied, my avocado, was not very fresh. It was grey in fact. had to leave most of it. of it. I don’t think she really wanted to hear an answer after she asked me, lol Seth E. she took my plate away and I didn’t hear anything else. Will not be returning here I’m afraid. Shame because it looks like a lovely set up.
