ROFL Comedy Club Preston

Nice location, bar staff friendly and efficient but the organisation of the acts was terrible. Show was supposed to start at 7.30, compare didn’t come into stage until about 8.20. After one act who was ok but very short (15-20mins) there was then yet another 30+ min break then eventually the second act turned up and compare got started again. Second act was good - have seen him before and he was good but again very quick. Then compare announced yet another bloody break…presumably because the third act has yet to turn up. Unsurprisingly audience was starting to get bored and bolshy.Got the feeling the acts hadn’t turned up on time as saw them wandering in late during the hugely long breaks… shocking organisation. We ended up leaving after the second act as we couldn’t face yet another 30+ mins waiting for an act…Suggest the organisers go to London comedy clubs to learn how it is done properly… get the acts in on time, several acts one after the other, and don’t have such huge breaks.Not worth the money or time wasted.

How is this place so unknown?!?! The absolute hidden GEM of Preston. Went tonight and even though it was a relatively small the crowd, the comedians presented a top class show, interacted with the crowd, and created a brilliant atmosphere. Plus, drinks and food delivered to the table throughout! Honestly one of the best places to go in Preston.

We were pleasantly surprised with the line up and the venue iteslf. A word of warning the roof isn't fully waterproof but don't let that put you off!! The beautiful architecture more then makes up for it! The staff were friendly and drinks reasonably priced. Overall would give more starts if I was allowed. Probably the best low key comedy line up I have seen. All three comedians were worthy of headlining!

Awesome venue, thank you for a brilliant night out, perfect food and very funny night. Lee and the team have done a great job bringing some fun back into the world. Can't wait to come back for more brilliant nights out.

Booked tickets, had a confirmation email back from the venue. Turned up at 7pm when doors open, whole building was padlocked shut, all lights off, no way to get in. No contact number for rofl or the venue. Messaged on social media, and haven't had a response, it's been over 3 weeks since we messaged. Absolutely robbed, we purchased 10 tickets for different shows over the season and haven't even managed to use any of them and not likely I'll be getting a refund. Not even a courtesy email to tell us the show was cancelled after we travelled from Lancaster.

Honestly the best night out ive been twice now took different people each time and will be going again and highly recommend this is an underrated comedy gig needs more people visting you wont be disappointed !!

Had a really good night. The food and drink was really nice and the comedians were decent which was a pleasant surprise for Preston. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!

Fantastic show tonight! A hidden gem in Preston city centre. 10/10 would recommend. This is what Preston has been missing! Food and drinks brought to the table, beautiful venue.
