A lovely lady called Dawn at Tapi Carpets Stirling went above and beyond for us. After a flood we gave her our budget for a full small house and needed them the next day! She made it happen! Such a lovely lady and we couldn't be more thankful

Went to the store and dealt with Steven for stair and bedroom carpets couldn't of been more helpful. Carpets were fitted a few days later by Jay and Billy who did a fantastic job Great service couldn't ask for better

Ordered from tapi carpets stirling striped carpet really friendly salesman said 2 to 3 weeks. But it came in 1 week. Fitters sean and 2 others ( dont know their names) made an absolutely brilliant job of the fitting very friendly and helpful I am so pleased with the service both from the shop and the fitters carpet is beautiful down

Great staff communication..a bit expensive for me being an OAP..carpets are lovely friendly fitters ..the runners in-between the doors are a bit loose so needed my daughter to fix that ..but overall experience was good

Do not buy from here if you don’t wish to pay through the nose and have highly questionable customer service. Have only recently discovered, after looking at new houses and the charges levied by the developers for fitting vinyl and carpet (which in itself is known to be expensive) that we were massively overcharged by Tapi for fitting out a tiny one bedroom flat some time ago with a synthetic carpet and vinyl. I have just confirmed this horrible suspicion after visiting independent carpet companies in Stirling for another property.Although Tapi did a home visit, there was no movement in price when I asked (other companies I have now visited had no problem in negotiating on price); the invoice I have is not itemised either. And they charged for TWO lots of adhesive (normally provided/charged by the carpet fitter), and ‘administration’, whatever that is. They farm out the carpet fitting to independents; the one who did our’s rushed around like Billy-oh and constantly complained about wanting to get “heme”, even though it was about 3 o’clock in the afternoon, and the floor boards were thick with decades old dirt that they were in no way going to vacuum up. Although nice, it wasn’t professional and I was requested to do a transfer directly into his bank account at the end of the day, which he texted to me. Tapi don’t include the fitting, so the customer has to pay the fitter on top. The whole cost came to well over a thousand pounds for a basic carpet, underlay, and two tiny bits of vinyl for a one bedroom flat!I was also telephoned during the fitting as part of a ‘Happy Customer Call’, or similar sort, to check my satisfaction with everything. I told them that I couldn’t give feedback as the fitter hadn’t finished and hadn’t long begun (one would have thought that was on their file). I never did get the call back at the correct time. So one can hazard a guess that they probably - and incorrectly - put me down as a satisfied customer. The whole thing is fairly shady. And I’ve been told they are well-known for over charging.Also, don’t call Carpet Right to compare prices - both companies are owned by a father and son.I am writing this review so that others don’t get fleeced. Looking at it with a fresh pair of eyes now, and having taken prices from other carpet companies - IN A COST OF LIVING CRISIS (who also have their own fitters), we could have saved at least £500, if not more, had I not naively gone to Tapi. This is money that should have gone on other more deserving causes, as this was an important part of an overall housing rehabilitation plan. So it wasn’t me who lost out. And that is unforgivable. And it’s where hard nosed businesses, and the people within them, can really take advantage of a situation. Especially during Lockdown, when choice was even more limited.Avoid Tapi Carpets. And don’t pick Carpet Right either.Go somewhere more professional and more deserving of your business.UPDATEA very negative, inappropriate, dispassionate, and rather unfair, approach by customer services (they had an issue with the time scale of the complaint - even though I only contacted them upon request of the reply. Apparently this was a problem with my main complaint, which makes one wonder why I was asked to do so. They also got facts wrong and did not listen/pick up on the main points) that matches the attitude in the store. The only “Tapiness”, as they describe, you’ll get, is the sort you will want to ‘tap’ out of your life. An unpleasant and ineffective company of people.

Booked a home appointment to discuss flooring and everything was brought to me which was great. There was no pressure to buy, good selection and I am very happy with what I have picked. Fast fitting service for the carpet and the fitters were excellent. Looking forward to having the rest of the flooring down when it arrives. Very happy so far, and would recommend.

Fantastic service from Tapi in replacing my lounge carpet. Brian the carpet fitter did a wonderful job fitting the carpet he was extremely polite and very professional. I would certainly recommend Brian to my friends and colleagues. I will be using his services again in the future.
