Howdens - Filton

Awful customer service almost start to finish. Designer was fine until they messed up the order. From then. horrific delivery experience, multiple items missing and lots delivered not even matching the design. Poor communication on trying to resolve and manager trying to blag his way out of it with incorrect statements. Not replying to emails then quereying invoices then threatening to suspend the account via the tradesman. Shafting you on return credit amount on items you didnt even order/match design in the first place. Incompetent and apathetic at multiple levels.

The kitchen we bought was designed and a price agreed and paid upfront, the design process was pretty good and the designer was prompt in responses and making changes when required.There were some issues which occurred during the order, however, Martin, the branch manager was quick to resolve the issues and I appreciate the speed and the way he dealt with them. Despite the issues that occurred, I'm very satisfied with the product and service received and would recommend Howdens Filton.

Howdens Filton are great in all respects. HomeWorks Bristol have received great customer service from Julie in the branch and from Joe and Natalie who measure, price and provide top class drawings and designs. We can't praise them enough!

Absolutely amazing service at this branch, after having our kitchen totally messed up by a planner at a different branch, Martin , Matthew , Julie and helen ( think that’s her name) all helped us tracking down missing items and replacing units that the planner measured to small.Matthews service is outstanding, I really cannot praise this branch enough.

Prior to going to Howdens, we were going for a wren kitchen, however the whole experience was a nightmare, hence coming to Howdens. I would say, if you like glamorous showrooms, lots of assistance with planning the kitchen build and then a poor after service, go to Wren! Whereas in Howdens, a showroom is pretty much non existent, but the service you receive is excellent. As we went to Wren first, we had an idea of what worktops etc we wanted, this made our planning fairly easy, but I imagine it could be more difficult if you didn’t really know what you wanted the kitchen to look like. Howdens never really crossed my mind, as I knew they were trade only. After making a call to Howdens one Saturday, I explained the kitchen dilemma to the store manager and he instantly tried to offer ways in which Howdens could help. We arrived at Howdens in the afternoon in which we were greeted by two staff (Matt and the store manager), both were great, but most dealings were with Matt and nothing was too much trouble for him. He recommended a few companies, one of which we decided to use (Phoenix kitchens) (Harold and John). I highly recommend using these guys, honest people who put pride into their work, which even comes with a one year fitting guarantee (which I didn’t expect). The fitting date was also a lot sooner than Wren! Thanks again, Harold and John! I highly recommend Howdens and Phoenix Kitchens. Thanks, Ben

Always an issue with this place.Products always arrive with at least one damaged item.Staff tell you to contact them on day of delivery for an ETA and then you’re told they don’t confirm times. Kit turn up in a sub contractors van and it’s hurried out with zero care for the product.Products sometimes opened yet ironically they won’t accept returns if opened.Unfortunately, 3 kitchen and 3 lots of issues in the past 12 months.Slow turn around on getting replacement items.Will avoid this branch moving forwards.

Can here after a my Howdens kitchen tap installed 10 years ago started dripping. It was obviously out of warranty but they found my order and ordered me the replacement cartridges. Great customer service.

Really poor experience throughout the whole kitchen process. Initially wrongly advised about which ranges were available in handle less. Designer had no attention to detail so it became evident, not soon enough, that certain aspects of the design were flawed and impractical. Some key parts of the kitchen weren’t specified in the order causing an installation delay. Branch staff quibbled about returned items and tried to charge for an unused item that was dusty. Maybe you’d get a better experience at a different Howdens branch - I would avoid Filton, Bristol.
