Friendly owners and staff, fantastic atmosphere every time I visit wales I come here. Food is beautiful, I always have to have at least one Welsh rarebit here, makes me hungry just thinking of it. A must visit!!

Lovely little quirky cafe and deli. Very welcoming staff.They often have music evenings with a meal and live music from small acoustic bands.

I love Snails Deli! It’s so great to find a truly independent, family run cafe where the food is cooked on the premises using high quality ingredients. Always a friendly welcome and the best coffee anywhere in Cardiff! Cakes are a meal in themselves.

Sadly tainted by my experience on the night of the rhiwbina Christmas fayre. We opted for takeaway assuming it would be quicker than eating in. There was a 20 minute queue, but that's to be expected. After paying, I had to wait 40 minutes, in 1°c, with a child. There was no warning of this delay.Kids sausage roll was a dry chipolata in a bun for £3.50. Turkey rolls were ok, but really cheap bread in the rolls.An hour to get sub standard food. I want to support local independent businesses, but this is just terrible. Very disappointing.

Our first visit to Snails today. Why has it taken us so long to find this gem in Rhiwbina! So friendly and the food is stunning. All home made and so different from the norm. My photos show the turkey, stuffing and cranberry pie, one of their many delicious quiches at the back. The lemon drizzle cake and the white chocolate and raspberry cake to take home to enjoy later. Will definitely return.

Should be way more popular than it is. Food came as a big portion and was divine (Pasta Funghi), plus service was excellent. The place has a real, cosy feel - loved it.
