Pure Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Basic alterations were not done with care (sent to external company) and very disappointing. The most annoying thing though is that they seem to spray items with some strong perfume/agent before pressing. I have washed the (man's) trousers 3 times and still there is an overpowering chemical/perfumey smell. It just doesn't shift. I took in clean items that didn't need to have a strong scent added to them.

I took a dinner suit and white jacket in to be cleaned for our hoilday.The dinner suit was fine but my white jacket was now off white with a stain on the arm which was not there when I took it in. I phoned to complain and the guy working called Sean asked me to take it in, I explained that we were leaving for our hoilday in the morning and it was now 5pm.He said if we took it in he would stay late and deliver it to my house later that night which he did. At 7.30.Although my jacket is still off white I wanted to thank Sean for going above and beyond to try to resolve the problem.I'm sad my jacket is not as perfect at before I had it cleaned , but I feel strongly that Seans service was outstanding. We live in Ash so not local to AltonThank you Sean .

Absolutely awful.Curtains not ironed properly but even worse the lining are left longer than the curtains.What a disaster

Expensive, poor and unapologetic service! I used Pure to dry clean three formal outfits. All three of the trousers had tram lines, had shrunk a little and had sticking zips. One of the suits was more important than the others, the trousers were tram lined, the zip was stuck and the jacket had a bubbling appearance. I returned to have things rectified whilst I waited and when returned, there were further tram lines on the back of the trousers meaning they needed to be re-pressed. I received no apology and a slightly surly and shrugging response. I will never use the service again and recommend avoiding!

I have done my dry cleaning here (suits and shirts) since they reopened under new managment. I think they are very good, friendly and reliable and the service is great. I do not understand the negative reviews and suggest people are not put off by them. Personally I have used many times and highly recommend!

Had a blanket and suit jacket cleaned. Fairly good quality but quite expensive for the quality completed

Took 2 suits in to be dry cleaned. As you can see from photo the trousers were double creased. They have more lines on them than went in with. I’m disgusted by what I’ve paid for. I have my suits cleaned every week and decided to change to a business near my work. I will not be returning ever. Waste of money.

I've never been treated so rudely in a shop before. The lady was very obnoxious. Disciplinary action required.

Love this place and have used many times over the past 15 months. Have got stains out that other dry cleaners haven't. Manager very knowledgeable about fabrics and types of cleaning (she will be very open about what is and is not possible and any issues that could arise). Garments always ready on time and a really pleasant and clean shop. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent service under the new management. .. quality of cleaning and cleaniness of the premises 5 star.
