Lovely place and really night friendly staff. Great selection of beers and good food. Highly recommended.

First visit to this lovely traditional two bar pub. Front bar is L shaped with (I'm guessing) a mid 30s counter and dartboard. Spacious lounge bar panelling is certainly from the pre war era and leads out to a large garden. Decent drinks range with two cask beers available.

Found the pub by chance. Only food is their specialised pies but they are the real deal. Pleasant atmosphere, good beer, great pies. Plus tried their new desserts which were delicious. Will be going there again...and again.

We drop into the BO at least once a week to catch up with friends or just have a quiet drink. It’s a proper local pub, good staff and well kept without being fussy. The garden out back is lovely in the warmer months and has heating for the hardy in winter. The food is limited to pies, which are tasty and good value. Wines and beers are also good value and a decent range. And they’re dog friendly, so the whole family can enjoy a visit.

Cosy pub, a bit out of the way but there is a bus stop outside and some parking on side roads. Staff really nice and they specialise in exceptionally good pies! Attended a family birthday party which they accommodated well. A jukebox as well!

Popped in while I was working near the pub. Staff rude unless your one of the locals that drink there got a pint not a word from the young lad serving. Dreadful place. Much better pubs nearby than this place

A great local pub which I often pop into after work if in the office. A vast selection of beers on offer, two bar areas and a front and rear beer garden too. The staff are polite and engaging and the other locals are friendly too.

For a pub that has cameras everywhere and overbearing staff that seem to hover over you, you’d think they’d clean up the drug problem in their toilets. Cocaine was in the female toilet. Definitely not family friendly.
