Arbuckles Restaurant & Bar
Went for a meal and booked the Secret garden. This adds a really nice dynamic to the dining experience. Your own little private glass house. Which was heated. Although took a little while to get that balance right. We asked for the control so we could regulate it ourselves.Service was bang on. No complaints. Even though you're not in the main restaurant you're tended to really well. Not just forgot about which was good.In terms of the food, it's presented well but it was really average tbh. The price you pay doesn't quite match up to the quality. Although it wasn't bad at all I think we just expected a little more.

Couldn't fault it. Beautiful inside, lovely food, very helpful and patient staff. They even let me change the flavours of ice cream on the banana split. Not badly priced either! My partner and I were both pleasantly surprised by this when we got the bill.

Arbuckles Restaurant & Bar
Arbuckles never let down. Been coming since they were just a little burger bar around 10 years ago. They hosted my party of 10+ effortless and we were no trouble at all. Ellie and another girl with brown hair and a septum piercing were always nearby and ready to attend to all our needs.Thanks Arbuckles for being incredible as always.

Nice surroundings and setting for our party of 6. Good, varied menu which also catered for vegetarians and vegans. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Accessible for wheelchairs. Will be back!

Arbuckles Restaurant & Bar
We were on holiday, staying locally. We found this place by chance on google maps near our accommodation. Went a few times during our stay, very nice both times, however we did notice depending upon the chef at the time, food can differ. My wife had the buttermilk chicken burger on 2 separate occasions and it was different both times. First time we ate here on the Monday was the nicest we both agreed, Thursday it was busier and food was a bit less tasty. Would still recommend, but maybe go quitter times for the best tasting food. staff were also friendly and attentive. 4 out of 5.

Table for three on a Monday evening for a small family meal, 04/12/2023 and it was pretty busy! Received at the door immediately, gave us a booth for six so loads of room. Immediate drinks order & quick service of same. Food order for starters & mains taken. All the food was excellent, cooked as per order and piping hot. Service excellent, staff cheery & friendly. The place was spotless, couldn't fault anything at all. First time for us in Downham Market 'Arbuckles' but as we are only a half hour drive away, we will definitely be back, hopefully, with friends. Starters: tacos & chicken wings. Mains: sirloin stick (medium); steak (rare) & chicken combo; Philli burger. All terrific. 5 stars.

Date of visit: 04/10/2023 PM - My double burger was cooked perfectly as I requested it to be well-done. Onion rings were really tasty, and the chips were good too; perfect portion sizes in my opinion. The large double chocolate milkshake was a standout, and my wife and I were pretty much happy with everything. All of the staff we were greeted / served by were very happy and personable and we will definitely return with family, although the ‘English Mustard’ was like eating fire… really quite hot, ha ha - Thank you to all and see you guys soon :)
