Decathlon

I recently bought a small item at southampton which was immediately returned via the customer service representative. The monies were not refunded, although it was thought they had been. After chasing the company and recently the store, the company will not return the funds for an item not received until a two hour trip to return the item in Southampton has been made. Central customer services say they cannot deal with items bought in stores, despite the store saying they occasionally refunded items which had been double charged. This was not made clear at the time of purchase and funds have not been returned, despite chasing emails for nearly a month and being a registered carer for three, with time being short. A referral is now being made to trading standards. Be aware that items bought in store can also only be exchanged in store, even for 'members' and there are not many stores nearby. Very disappointing for a large company that ptides itself on customer services.

Harry was brilliant, he was patient and very welcoming. He gave advice and offered suggestions and offered his time to assist us. Really appreciate the personal touch. The store offered a decent variety and the options were amazing. The check out was an experience on its own with the scan-less system. Made the experience note worthy and will be referring friends and family. Thank you for the service

Very competent, friendly, and helpful staff. Specifically, Ash and Liam are the two people that helped me. Liam diagnosed some serious issues with my bike, and recommended I should get a new one instead. And Ash explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and was very patient. He then helped me select a new bike, thoroughly checked/adjusted it before handing it to me, and even threw in some mud guards and lights! And also handed me the new break pads that they had just installed on my new bike the week beforehand.Great experience overall, will definitely keep visiting those guys for any bike issues I have in the future!

Has really gone downhill recently. Stock levels are now very poor. Many items now unavailable or only in limited sizes. This also appears to be an issue at other branches. Suspect that on-line sales are being prioritised over in-store purchases. Has the feel of a closing down sale about it.

Love Decathlon. Something for everyone. It’s standard across all stores no matter where you are and always good value for money.

Dropped my bycicle for maintenance and change of rear breaks. Now the breaks make crazy noise and when you call to get an appointment or support, no space because very busy and I was told on the phone that it was most likely my fault anyway while they haven't even ask much question about the problem or seen the bycicle a second time......

First experience with Decathlon and I'm ultra pleased, I ordered a kids bike online and they kept to the expected delivery date which I really needed to work out due to it being 2hours away. I got into the store and was surprised to see it built, Liam and Callum had clearly grafted to get this done on time....I was over the moon with the friendly, quick and efficient service and it's certainly been a much more pleasant experience than Halfords!

We wanted to see the size of a pop up 2 man tent and there wasn't one on display. A wonderful assistant, Francisco, obliged and even showed us how to put it back in it's carrier. Excellent service.

Amazing rental service experience! We wanted to rent a kayak for the sunny May bank holiday weekend. The order was ready for us at the time we selected to collect, team super friendly, safety advice and recommendation locations to go locally were also given. Pricing is per day rather than hour so is also great value for money! Drop off was very seamless and quick as well. 10/10 would recommend renting from these guys!
