A friendly club that welcomes new members. The head coach Ian Lovering does a great job at encouraging as many people as possible to give tennis a go. Saturday morning junior tennis is a great social highlight within the village for players and their parents. Team tennis is available for all standards if you wish to compete in the Cornish tennis leagues. Highly recommended

We go to St.Agnes tennis club every week. Our smaller two children attend Ian's Saturday morning clubs. The kids clubs are great fun! They run every week from 9.30am. The children can start from age 4 ish and coach Ian makes it great fun. He keeps them engaged with games and snacks at the end.

We were visiting Cornwall for a week so I checked in advance with this clud whether the courts were available for non-members. Got an email from Geraldine saying it was okay for £2.50 for each player. When I came with a child to play, there was a free court and the staff showed us where to put the money and they confirmed it was okay to play. But once we started, they approached us again saying that 'club members' were coming to play shortly so they had priotiry and we should leave ('we are so sorry'). My daughter was upset as we already started, so I asked if I could become a member. They quoted £73 and I agreed to pay immediately, but we were told to leave anyway as 'the secretary is not available to take your payment'.So we had no choice but to pack our rackers and went to the beach. In the evening, when it was cold and almost dark and we were walking home, the lady from the club team stopped her car next to us and said that we could now play as all members were gone....I would recommend avoiding St Agnes if you are a tennis player and use the Perranporth courts instead.
