Pizza Hut Restaurants

Good service, good food and it was clean and friendly too. We had a takeaway today 12/23 X2 pizzas and 2x salads, they were nice and one of the pizzas was gluten free too. Service and takeaway reception was friendly and efficient.

I visited the Pizza Hut in Portsmouth. Loved the food. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They have lots of vegan options on the menu and almost all of the salad dressings are vegan - such joy! When you order a meal deal - main, side and drink - you get unlimited free salad from the salad bar, which has great produce. I had the buffalo vegan pizza with stuffed crust, they offer the violife cheese (my favourite). It was delicious. The place is clean, has lots of space, and it is pretty busy at lunch time, mostly families with kids.

Fantastic place if you like Pizza hut. Lots of parking space and the staff was also very courteous. Offers were also suggested which we were unaware of.

Very disappointing establishment and very inflexible with seating people. Staff unfriendly like they don’t want to be there. Yesterday we came in with a bigger group of people after a flip out session and they didn’t even look around the restaurant just turned us away like they couldn’t be bothered. Management needs to seriously review the staff they put in there a bit more Customer focused wouldn’t go a miss. Also previous experiences when eating there weren’t great

My expectation was not high - however for a little evening out with my daughter whilst my wife and other kids had plans - this was perfect. They don't stop cleaning here, the food is good and the service excellent. Despite ordering via QR at the table - all the staff were excellent. Credit where its due - we will be back

It was perfect for my daughters birthday, she had a good round booth with her friends, staff were friendly and enthusiastic, pizza was tasty and re-stocked well. Thank u.

Hadn't been in a long time so thought I would treat myself, but I spent 25 minutes eating and over an hour waiting for food staff looked busy but restaurant wasn't it just seemed that one person - the manager was running the floor and the kitchen, and no one seamed to check on diner's so once the main meals was finished with we had a very long wait even to get the attention of the solo floor staff member. All that said and done I would still visit again as food was great

Good food. However App based ordering? Really? Menu is super confusing especially when trying to order yourself on an app and then they have the audacity to ask if you want to leave a tip! For what? No service?

What a Terrible Customer ExperienceWhat a disapointing experience - So, I was on my way back from a long round trip with a friend, who had just came along for the journey and we stopped off after 4 hours into our trip at about 8:20pm on 'All Hallows Eve' and it was a torrid evening weather wise, we decided to stop at Pizza Hut Port Solent and were 'greeted' (If you can call it that) by a member of staff who made us feel as if we were intruding, rather than being welcomed. It was as if he just wanted to go home and as if we inerupted him in his quest of cleaning tables for his impending departure. Not a friendly smile or greeting and simply said I'll get the menus, picked 2 up and off he went! We followed him to a table and we were told to, when we have chosen from the menu, order from the QR code on the table and off he went again. My friend and I commented on how unwelcoming we thought he was to each other, as he walked away!Hey Ho - we chose our food and ordered and our drinks they came first followed by our sharing pizza. I had ordered a Pepsi out of the bottle and requested Ice from the menu and my friend ordered a Latte. When the drinks arrived, the Coffee was Cold and we told our server and it was replaced with a hot drink (as it should have been in the first place). The bottle of Pepsi arrived and was put on the table and he was going to walk away when I asked for a straw as I was only offered a 'Cup' ! I said, 'in that case, may I have a straw instead of a cup'. (No mention of any ice)!!The food arrived which was the whole very good, although the Chicken Supreme wasn't exactly stacked with Chicken. Fries were fresh and hot and as expected. There was no Check Back to see if our food was OK.We ate our food and as the only other couple in the restaurant, before we got up to leave, we asked if we could have a takeaway box, this was plonked on our table and after we had placed our pizza in the box and we got up to leave, we were now the only customers in the restaurant. We were passed by the person that showed us to the table and what I can only assume was the manager/owner as this person had earlier barked out at our table server, to take a takeaway order for someone who had arrived earlier and we were totally ignored by all the Staff as we vacated. We even looked over and said goodbye to where they were standing as we were leaving, with the view to thank them also, but we were totally ignored. I remarked on my exit to my friend that I felt that after spending nearly £50 (£46.67 to be exact), the whole experience was very underwhelming and I would be writing this review as I felt that the staff needed some, what I would call, a refresher in the Basics of Customer Service.I understand that Pizza Hut is not a high end restaurant, but one should expect at least a friendly greeting from staff, a check back to see if all is OK and a friendly goodbye and a thanks for being there! In this place, we got nothing!!!Poor Show.
