This 'stadium' is right next to Wormwood Scrubs prison and my god, it's in a sorry state. It looks like it's going to fall down at any moment. There are changing rooms there that could have been built in the '50s; they certainly haven't been maintained in past years and they smell like urine. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

Sporting facilities were okay, but the other facilities were appalling and slightly scary. There are some laminated signs up saying that renovations are underway, but it was really unpleasant. Paint peeling from the walls, mossy/mouldy windows, one wall in the ladies looked dangerously unstable - see images.

Accessible track and home of Thames Valley Harriers. An outdoor gym with pull-up bars is on the north side of the track. An undercover 60m tartan strip is a welcome patch for sprinters training in bad conditions. Runners will note the generally breezy setting of the track, ferocious for middle-distance athletes looking to PB.

Linford Christie Stadium is good for several physical activities and has a lot to offer but needs some funds injected into it to improve the facilities there as it appears to be a bit run-down. Could someone please look into it? Thank you.

Great place to do outdoors exercise such as running; the lindford Christie stadium provide a perfect running track for all to enjoy as well as a full 11 aside grass pitch as well as 5 aside astrosturf pitches. Just outside the stadium there is a fantastic constructed outdoor gym suitable for ages 14 + weather you feeling to strech your muscles or build muscles there are perfect body weight equipments to get in shape for the festive seasons .

Linford Christie Stadium is a wide and open space, but it does not meet my needs fully. This place definitely needs some form of maintenance, and there is a reason for that. The seats at the same time are very old and unclean. I do not know who cleans the place of how often they do, but it seems as though nobody has hired to do the job. However, the thing that freaks me out the most about this place are the toilets. The toilets are creepy, and I have a genuine fear of even going near them. I swear that no one has cleaned that place properly - it reeks and none of the locks work. The drinking water fountains are warm and the pressure of the taps are very low, which is not great after you’ve just finished a race. The only good thing about this place is the obvious - the race track. For that reason, alas, I will have to give this place a two, but if anything else had upset me when I visited this place, I would give it a ‘one’ straight away.
