Fixed desks are all taken. The hotdesking area is extremely noisy (chatter + loud muzak) to the point you cannot do work that requires concentration. The hot desks are possibly deliberately uncomfortable and are also shabby. The coffee is good though.

I’ve been lucky enough to work for a couple of different companies based out of CodeBase. I enjoyed working there so much I now have the monthly Hotdesking pass so that I can still be a part of the community. The CodeBase team are absolutely lovely, very friendly & accommodating and the networking opportunities are fantastic. I look forward to being able to attend in person events again soon, though they have an impressive number of exciting online events too.

A great place for startups and freelancers. There are a lot of companies to work for and with. They really care about the success of each member. They also have great events.

Great place for coworking, slap bang in the middle of Edinburgh. Very reasonable day rate, and really friendly staff. Highly recommended to any startup folk passing through.

It has some nice areas but a large part of codebase is an ancient ex-council building which feels right out of the 80s

Great location that has a wide range of community events. Hotdesking and office rental keep the lights on but with some great public and private occasions its a good place for the community to come together.

A great place to hotdesk with tasty coffee by Filament, strong WiFi, interesting events and a forthcoming fab lab on site. £10 per day or £50 per month hotdesking. Staff are all great.

It's nicely located near Edinburgh Castle.CodeBase Edinburgh is the UK's largest technology incubator, we had a meeting inside and we had a tour of the facilities, it's amazing how they support startups to grow.Well done..

Our office is currently being renovated and we had an emergency situation with a burst pipe so needed office space for an important VC meeting the very next day. Luckily our intern suggested Codebase and we arranged it all very quickly. It is very cheap and cheerful and sufficient for our emergency needs. There seems to be hotdesking and business start ups too. Good little community hub.
