Unacceptable workmanship.Used Timco for fitting and tiling a new en suite after using Tim for many other jobs in the house. For some reason this time the quality of the job was way below standard.Tiling very poor, wall tiles laid unevenly, floor tiles started to move from day 1Shower tray not level.We ended up stripping everything out and starting again. Found out from other tradespeople that some of the 'unseen' work was sub standard too.The waste pipe had a severe kink which we were told would have properly frozen up in winter.Tiles were actually dot and dabbed onto the wall and floor rather than on an even bed of adhesive, so we're told would more than likely have caused leaks in the shower.Some of the floor joists were cut half way through to allow pipes to pass. We were told that by doing this they were no longer strong enough to support the floor. Again these had to be replaced.Not sure what has happened to Tim this time. In the past we have been more than happy with his work.I have recommended Tim to friends in the past, I won't be doing so again.

Tim and the team completely bathroom refurbished my bathroom, which involved having it first stripped back to nothing and then plastered, new floor and new bathroom furniture fitted. I found him and the team friendly and professional and would recommend them.

Excellent, I had some issues with layout of a kitchen we wanted. Tim had some amazing space saving ideas got what we wanted and more. Tim and his team were very clean and tidy with outstanding quality finish. Will definitely use again. Many thanksPhil Dent

We booked Tim Co Plumbing based on CheckATrade reviews but we were really disappointed. He didn't turn up the first time we booked him but after we rang to check if he was coming, he said he'd been trying to call us so we gave him the benefit of the doubt and re-booked for the week after. Again, he didn't turn up + wouldn't respond to text messages. Very disappointed + our boiler is still broken!

One to add to my list of outstanding local businesses. Had water slowly escaping from somewhere. Two other local companies offered to come out in a week's time but Tim Co managed to arrange for Joe to fit in an initial visit between other jobs and having identified the problem reshuffled work amongst the team so he could do the repair straight away. Friendly, turned up when they said they would, explained the issue and did the work for fair price. Not only did Joe fully clean up afterwards he even took away the debris under the bath behind the bath panel that had been left and hidden when the house was constructed!

He broke more than he fixed. Which was my boiler. Clogged my toilet and came to say he had... your a 'plumber'.. sort it. He has dodgy mates who also tried to rip you off. When he came round he came round in an unbranded Van.. wonder why.. please save your time and money and GO ELSEWHERE. He also threatened me with legal proceedings for leaving a bad review after asking for a refund and getting denied. Got all the messages to prove. AVIOD!!! and his snakey electrical friend who tried to rip me off for thousands.

Timco fitted a new boiler for me within one week of quoting for the job. The quote came in considerably less than British Gas and Helplink. The team fitting the boiler were efficient and quick, leaving the house in a clean and tidy condition. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Tim did a great job fixing my boiler, he was professional and offered great advice. I will definitely be using Timco again and would recommend to anyone looking for help with heating or plumbing in York.
