The Tavern Inn
Popped into this lovely pub as a one off after a rain soaked ramble to the Thames source. Only had a quick lunchtime snack but the food and service were exemplary. After hearing I was parked a couple of miles away and it was pouring with rain the landlord very kindly offered the three of us a lift to my car. Excellent service. Will definitely visit again when next in the area.

Huge serving with great food.Fish and chips (with cod fish) and meal in a basket are both good. Toilet is clean and the restaurant is just short drive from the main road.I did not try the beer, but I believe this is good place for a drink due to good ambience and friendly services.Free parking outside.

First visit, on a Sunday near Christmas. Various festive roasts available all presented to a really high standard. Food, service and level of friendliness all through the roof! Absolutely loved it here, and will definitely be back...... Probably tomorrow!

Beautiful pub in Kemble, right next to the railway station.Visited Kemble to go to Cotswold Airport and on the way back thought about getting food.Ended up visiting The Tavern Inn, which I'm glad I did. It was a Sunday, and they had a roast menu on. Being a veggie I thought it would be the usual nut roast, which isn't the most exciting thing. Instead they had cauli and broccoli cheese as opposed to a nut roast. It was amazing.Roast was fantastic, as was the venue itself. Good range of ciders, great food. Would definitely come back again.Plus there is a large outside area with a play area.

Thursdays bike nights with the tav are always super welcoming!Food can be a tad pricey but ay its a business! Customer service is top tier and the atmosphere is always incredible

Lovely building, friendly staff, quick service, good atmosphere, kid + dog friendly. The Sunday Roast was delicious! Well worth a visit.

Went as a table of 4 for Sunday lunch, booked via messenger, as I couldn’t get through on the phone. Huge portions and very tasty roast, the blackberry and apple crumble for pudding was delicious. The main was slow to come, but they were busy so understandable. Friendly service, and very reasonably priced. Lovely country pub. We’ll be back!

Travelled down for a little break hoping to stop for a later lunch but the kitchen wasn't open when we arrived around 2.30pm.We asked if they serve gluten free food but replied with the kitchen is closed. Not the answer we were hoping for, we may have attended at a later time. We won't be now.The sign to the pub even has a knife and fork but the kitchen wasn't open..ironic?The website" takes you to a Facebook page but it's not clear what time the food is available from.The atmosphere seemed to give a nice family vibe however and there is spaces for parking outside."
