I contacted Alex with a view to booking a holiday for myself, my husband and 2 boys.He was extremely helpful and quickly got back to me with some options to look at. Alex was really friendly & knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him to look into, I was very fussy so he had his work cut out!Once we had decided he dealt with everything very efficiently and explained everything I needed to know fully. He also booked our airport parking for us.We have just returned from an amazing 10 days in Turkey in a fabulous hotel. Back in November last year we booked our Summer holiday to Menorca with Alex at Not Just Travel. Given the subsequent Covid restrictions, we didn’t feel comfortable to travel; Alex understood our situation and was proactive in advising us of our options which was a massive help given the uncertainty and ever changing information. Alex seemed to have a clear grasp of how the Covid restrictions were affecting travel and communicated the options to us throughout.We decided to see if we could move the holiday to a later time and Alex was again very helpful in giving us our options. Our preferred option in the end was to move the holiday to next summer which Alex managed to do for us at the same price which was amazing and a relief!We’d highly recommend Alex at NJT to anyone that wants a personal, professional and proactive holiday service.

Alex did an excellent job of arranging a family holiday for us to Lapland in December 2021.We first contacted Alex mid 2019 about the holiday. He started by speaking to us to understand what sort of holiday we were looking for and our rough budget. He then presented us with various options, and he answered any questions we had before we made our final choice and booked the holiday. The booking process was very simple.In November 2021 the omicron strain of covid appeared and there were regular changes to the travel requirements by the British and Finnish governments, Alex did a great job of keeping us constantly updated about the latest requirements.The holiday with Transun to the Tundrea resort, Kilpisjärvi, Finland was incredible with full length husky ride, snowmobiling, and reindeer sleigh ride to see Santa. The accommodation, food, and location were all awesome.Alex has also helped us with booking a fly drive holiday to Vancouver for later this year and was very helpful again in discussing the options and refining the plan. He’s very helpful, responds quickly, listens to the requirements, and is easy to get on with.Thanks!

Alex provided an exceptional service for our holiday in Corfu. Alex organised everything to ensure the holiday ran smoothly. Nothing was a problem. Our first holiday cruising and we booked last year for March 2022. Alex was able to organize everything without us having to think about much, which we were grateful for as we were both really busy with work/ moving/ unwell family members. My many queries were often answered with a direct telephone call from Alex with all information, which was refreshing.Unfortunately we were unable to board our booked cruise at the cruise gate due to one of us newly testing positive on the day, and it fell to Alex to sort out after both the cruise company and insurance company making things slightly difficult to figure out how to sort things out.Alex was brilliant. He found us a great trip to rebook on where we got amazing value, he spoke to both the cruise company and insurance company, ending up on hold for hours at times trying to help us sort out our claim, and kept me really well informed the whole time.Having travelled independently for years throughout the world, I can honestly say using a travel agent such as Alex with such attention to detail and being able to lift the phone to, really made it very worthwhile to book through and helped reduce the time, hassle, and stress, especially when things went wrong. He even emailed us back when on his own family holiday at the time after a query from us around the insurance claim.We very much hope to book with not just travel in the future and now life has relaxed a little and we are catching up on things, are considering using his services again for our next booking to help make things easier.

My friend and I booked a recent holiday to Mallorca through Alex. He was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. What can I say. It if wasn't for Alex we would never had got on that plane on the 22nd due to the St Lucia Travel Authority not issuing our permission to travel in time. After trying everything for several hours Alex sorted the problem just in time! It shows the quality of a great travel agent and why its so important to have a person to speak to rather than just an online website. He is patient, understanding and always helpful. We wanted to say a huge thank you to Alex for arranging everything so brilliantly for our holiday in St Lucia. We had a truly wonderful time, and everything ran incredibly smoothly, our flights, transfers, accommodation and location were superb.We were upgraded to a three bedroom top floor apartment overlooking the beach; a staggering place, with a 20 metre balcony and incredible views. Everything was immaculate and the staff were super.We had loads to do and went out exploring most days. It is a wonderful place, highly recommended!

Just returned from a fabulous long weekend in Budapest. We were looking for somewhere abroad, but not too far, and the choice was overwhelming. Alex carefully researched destinations, recommending the best location suited to our budgets and needs. We were given a very competitive price compared with other online travel agents. Alex arranged every aspect of our holiday from our flights, centrally located apartment and travel insurance through to private airport transfers and panicked last minute check-in queries. All questions were answered quickly, no matter the time or day! First class service, couldn’t recommend highly enough.
