I phoned this company with a single, simple query about a desk. I wanted to know about a specific feature and what it meant. Customer services said they would find out and get back to me. They didn't. I tried on two other occasions, I was told the same.I really wanted the desk, so I configured the desk on their website without the feature I queried about. I paid £699 and I received an automated receipt for the order.A month went by, I expected some lead time to receiving the desk, I emailed customer services to find out if they have any idea when I that would be—I didn't want to call them because of the previous experience I had with them. They hadn't replied to my email this time, or even acknowledged my query.Or this is what I thought. A few days later, customer services called me and asked me to check my Junk email, a place I hardly ever look. A month old email was in there from them with the estimated delivery date.If I hadn't had the initial telephone experience with them, phone calls would have been made and this wouldn't have become such a big problem.I received the desk in the morning, on time and just before starting work, which was ideal. The desk was assembled with great care by the installers and they took away all the packaging (The desks arrive well packaged to avoid any damage).What started out as quite frustrating experience was resolved and handled professionally, I am very happy with my new home work station.

Having undertaken meticulous research whilst looking to replace my (at times agonising) Ikea Marcus office chair I came across Steelcase, specifically their Gesture model. During my many deep-dives of the internet I kept coming across Hunts Office and their comprehensive videos, blogs and guides; it became clear to me that they are not just a box shipper but experts in their field. I actually contacted several Steelcase agents and Emma at Hunts was by far the most helpful and responsive. We interacted a few times on different aspects of the purchase and she was nothing but patient and helpful throughout.My Gesture arrived very well boxed and fully assembled, which was great. The chair actually had an unforeseeable issue and Emma was quick to make suggestions, contact the manufacturer and ultimately, and in a timely fashion arrange to have it swapped out for another – no return to store, no cost of carriage – no fuss whatsoever.If you are thinking of buying a chair then the Gesture is well worth a look, at 6’2” and 110kgs+ it hugs my long back and cossets my posterior. Marathon work days followed by epic gaming and streaming sessions are no longer leaving me limping like the Ikea chair did.Of course, Hunts are 100% recommended by me. Look no further.

I have ordered a new Leap chair and am very happy with my choice. The chair is fantastic in terms of both comfort and build quality. The customer service was excellent as well, I was able to order my chair with a fabric not featuring on the Hunts Office Furniture website which was great. The chair also arrived quicker than initially projected.

Fantastic and seamless service. Purchased a chair that was listed in stock and arrived in 2 working days. It arrived fully assembled too, so only took a few minutes to unpack. No scuffs or marks on the chair either which is always a relief. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a new home office chair or furniture!

Luc let me try six steelcase gestures in the showroom, two of which were the draughtsman/cashier chair. Some were leather and some cloth. Each was setup differently and was noticeable. But one felt perfect so I knew I would be able to set it up perfectly for my back.In the end I bought an ex-display model as it looked brand new and was better for my budget. Plus I could take it home the same day!So far the chair has been great. Should the cashier versions become ex-display I would consider getting one for my shop.Good experience all round.
