Went for a birthday celebration. Service was impeccable start to finish and food to match. Food was extremely well prepared and portions were very good as well. Menu is small but exciting and varies all the time. Would happily go back!

I made a booking for a special occasion lunch about 1 month ago, on the booking I stated that we had a little baby so please could we have space for a pram and high chair. I was emailed yesterday to reconfirm the booking for tomorrow. I reconfirmed and again wrote a note about the baby and requested space for a buggy and high chair. This booking was accepted. We are all set to go tomorrow but a friend just told me that they don’t allow babies. I called to check and she’s right! So now we have no special lunch booked for tomorrow and this restaurant would have allowed us to turn up on the day and been turned away, if I hadn’t of called to check by chance. Even though I clearly stated twice about the baby on the reservations. There was also no note about this when booking. Not a good experience which has made me very cross.

Second time at Chez Bruce - this time celebrating birthday and everything was just impeccable. Great service, amazing food and lively ambiance. The rabbit pasta was absolutely delicious as was the tandoori monkfish. We would eat their focaccia and shortbread every day if we could. Can’t wait to go back - thank you!

Delicious food and superb wine list!We had Valentine’s Day dinner there and were blown away by the immaculately prepared dishes. I started with the salmon app, cod main, and warm chocolate cake for dessert. I would highly recommend all of them. The cheese course was amazing as well, and the lobster raviolo and the monk fish.The portions are very large so I probably wouldn’t have had 3 courses when I go next time. But all in all delicious!

The best dinner and dining experience we’ve had in the UK since we arrived 15 months ago. Just wished we had gone here sooner as we move back to the US in a couple months . So many people recommended it and we finally had the opportunity to fit it in.Chef Bruce, his staff and the restaurant itself were all amazing. We were so impressed with Bruce’s presence and his hospitality. We felt so welcomed, and we felt he and his entire staff cared about our experience.And now to the food. Just fabulous. I’m mostly vegetarian and their aubergine dish was mouth watering! My husband had the Chateaubriand and loved it.Thank you to the entire staff at the restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant

We had aubergine and lobster for starters. Both were fantastic! The main that stood out was the wild mushrooms.The whole ambiance inside was warm and welcoming. I would've enjoyed seeing a more cohesive art collection though, but that's being nit-picky! The most important thing is that their food was beyond this world :D

Unassuming Michelin where the menu sounds classic but each dish had something that stood out. The staff were lovely and super accommodating with menu changes. Very good value for a starred place. Matched the quality.

Another fantastic lunch at this old classic which never fails to deliver across the board. Simply amazing food. The foie gras is a must when visiting Chez Bruce especially when accompanied by a glass of sauternes which we followed with the venison and finished with the creme brûlée. An absolute Christmas treat.
