Cakes look nice but have not taste. They are all the same. Just plain sponge with cream filling. Only the toppings are different. Found out cakes are not made on site and are delivered ad part of the franchise deal.All the cakes are to uniform and perfect to be made in store.Would I buy again. Not really!

Bought a slice of chocolate orange cake for £3.50. It looked amazing. But the sponge was bland, tasteless, and totally overwhelmed by the cream, there was no flavour at all. I ate one bite, picked the slices of Terry's chocolate orange (the only bit of flavour, orange or otherwise, to be found) off the top, and threw the rest out. Extremely disappointed, definitely not worth the cost.

Popped back in today to get a treat for me and my Grandaughter. The cakes are okay, they are a basic sponge either chocolate or vanilla, cream is standard it’s the bits on top that give a it it’s tasty treat.The only real down side is the customer service, I asked a question and was ignored, I felt that I’d disturbed their day by entering the shop and felt rather uncomfortable. Shame. Looks like it’s back to the supermarket for these in the future and the extras myself.
