As an Edinburgh student, Teviot is an easy go-to place for any occasion: quiet catch up with friends, study break, quick lunch, coffee between lectures, birthday drinks...the list could go on!Located on Bristo Square, this student union is a very lovely looking building filled with a range of bars, cafes, meeting rooms, games rooms and even a print shop. I have spent a lot of time in Teviot during my time studying and it never fails to disappoint with its friendly atmosphere, cheap drinks and tasty food!Teviot is also the venue for many of the university societies' meetings and rooms can be booked out for events. You will often find a huddle of happy knitters in the lounge bar, dance groups in the debating hall or sports teams catching up in the Library Bar. Each Sunday the Library Bar runs a pub quiz, which is a great way to round off the weekend with a big bowl of their famous nachos!

Great place to sit down and take a break. You can bring your own food and warm it at the microwave or buy some at the cafe. Some confortable coaches to relax and plenty of space. Overall, a nice addition to the university of Edinburgh facilities!

A great student union, looks lovely, there is lots of space and there is a good choice of drinks, and they really run out of drinks even during the very busy festival period. The student staff are very professional and efficient, and the place is always neat and tidy. You can wait 5 minutes at the bar but with the amount of staff on, and the price you are paying this seems pretty reasonable. The food deserves a special mention: it's some of the best cheap food in Edinburgh. The burgers, nachos and pasta dishes are lovely, despite being cheap. There is always plenty of condiments and the whole venue is generally run very well.

I love this place. The design is beautiful, bright and sunny because of the dome skylight. So nice for social events, study friendly. The student union is so helpful.

The best student union I have ever been to. It looks beautiful, especially at night. When I worked at the University visitors often asked about the building, not believing it was a union let alone that it served the cheapest drinks for students. During the festival it takes on a completely different yet still grand character. The club nights can be a bit quiet but an excellent place to go for a cheeky pint while you revise.

Great staff, great sound. Bar could have a bit more variety.

For a student union it is pretty good. The old bookcases in library bar make for a very unique atmosphere. It is a nice cheap place to grab some food and a drink. It's quiet during the week, but picks up on weekends.

Great student union! Drinks are cheap, £2.30 for a pint is one of the best prices in the area! The food is pretty good, and is relatively cheap if you're a student. Always a great place to chill and have a conversation.

100% convenient. While the students working at EUSA can be great, the senior staff are often unpleasant and not what you might call professional. New Amphion café" is overpriced and underwhelming. The coffee is particularly poor. Nice place and atmosphere
