Friendly helpful staff. Good food. Clean en-suite room. Lovely surroundings. Would recommend to anyone.

Each visit there are improvements and upgrades. The latest wheelchair accessible rooms are excellent. Food is great as usual.

Love the single room accommodation. Facilities tip top and food, especially the salad bar is brill for mass catering.

Excellent facilities, with beautiful grounds and close proximity to Barclay Park. The new wing is great, but I was moved to a different room after the first night, where it was hot and stuffy. The windows only opened 2 inches and being in the inside corner of an enclosed rectangle, there was absolutely no air movement, and my room was an oven after baking in the afternoon sun. I got very little sleep after the first night. Staff were helpful, 3 full meals were great. Delicious desserts. Tea and coffee included 8-8. Meeting spaces were good for various sized groups. Gym was well equipped but hard to access and stuffy as a sweatbox. Little bar was well stocked and the place was continually busy with different groups that came and went in the short time that I was there. Staff was amazing at keeping up with the room turnover. Amazing legacy from the Barclay family. Lovely little lake on the grounds and expansive gardens with many benches to sit on.

Always welcomed well and enjoyed multiple stays here with different Christian groups. The corridors are very long and winding and it’s easy to get about if you go outside and in again. The food is ok. Staff pleasant. Rooms comfortable. Free coffee machines great. Disabled access excellent. Wifi not bad (9.63 Mps) and free with no login.

Had the absolute best time! The staff are AMAZING! Soooo friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. So clean and well kept. Great facilities on site and good location. Fast wifi, fantastic food for everyone. Missed out on the 5 stars as a lot of our bedrooms didn't have ait con. Also would be ideal to have some electrical sockets by the beds.

Great place for groups, bed-rooms are big enough, hairdryer and toiletries available in room. The food is absolutely outstanding, too much and too often but no-one complained as it was so delicious. Be prepared to weigh more when you leave.
