After months of trying to talk to someone about repairs to our property, I talked to Freddie who has filled me with some hope that he will get the jobs done. What impressed me was that Freddie phoned me back with an update . Even though I haven’t got a date for the jobs to be done I feel confident that at last someone is dealing with it.Thanks FreddieUpdate on my experience with YAB LettingsThis agency has turned into a 5 star company since they have new staff.We had a few repairs that needed dealing with and has been contacting YAB with no joy for about 3 months. As soon as Freddy was on the case, not only was all the repairs completed but he also gave a follow up call to make sure that we was satisfied and to see if there was anything else he could help with. 5 stars for Freddy. I now feel confident that any future issues will be dealt with.Thank you Freddy

Useless as a letting agency. Been a tenant nearly 5 years and we’re getting nothing but broken promises and constant failure for them to comply to our requests when it comes to repairs. Got environmental health at RMBC involved twice now and there still not complying. Constant excuses for lack of compliance.Unsafe gas appliances in the property. Boiler not been serviced in over 3 years and has been Put as at risk to life “DO NOT USE”..Added note 20/2/23: Due to us complaining about repairs and other issues YAB/landlord have now decided to serve us with a section 21 notice.???The landlord/YAB do not care about there tenants. They also like to discriminate against disabled tenants and there families. They have absolutely no support for tenants whatsoever. All they care about is the landlord.My advise to anyone wanting to rent a property via YAB then please Don’t…

Really friendly approachable staff. We had a few issues the day before we moved, these issues were dealt with quickly and professionally by YAB. I would definitely recommend them as agents. The only slightly negative feedback i would give is that the weeks before the move i felt as though i had to chase them for updates. I think the agents should probably give a courtesy every few days to update tenants.

A very unprofessional service I live in the Northeast and made an appointment to view a house to let and explained my brother would be viewing it on my behalf as he lives in South Yorkshire I was given a time to view the property over the phone my brother showed up and nobody had turned up after contacting them he was told nobody had logged the appointment so he waited 40 mins for someone to show and took photos of the inside of the house I decided to put in for the property on their website and sent personal details passport bank statements etc and dealt with a person called Aneeka then no correspondence at all from her until I telephoned her to be told to send more personal documents which I did and I have heard nothing back again apparently they have no record of the appointment viewing and none of the staff can remember showing my brother around (he has a Geordie accent so hard to forget) I cannot put in for the property without viewing it again-Im lost for words total waste of mine and my brothers time

Definatly give a wide birth regarding renting or selling from these set of cowboys.Wouldnt trust them with my daughters dinner money.Upon viewing property, i was promised that it would be painted and carpets laid.They laid the carpets but i had to clean the mess but the flat wasnt decorated.I didnt get shown where the gas and electic box was.I painted the flat myself because to my standards the flat needed painting.I was given a welcome pack, which was the only decent thing they did.I was promised it was long term but after 12 month i was told the landlord wants to sell.The gas boiler didnt get serviced with in them 12 months which is a legal requirement for rental property.I gave my notice, when i handed my keys in i explained to one of the staff about every key. I also had a spare set cut for them. To be told i hadnt handing my post box key in. Very poor staff that havent got a clue running the office.Upon trying to recieve my bond, its took them 21 days to recieve it, after several phone calls and emails to be kept being told they was workin on it and they would be in contact later. I felt i had to do all calls and emails regarding recieving my bond and i felt i was going to have to hand it over to a legal team to deal with. This experience has caused a load of stress and upset.Especially the current climate where in, and needing the money for the new property your moving into.On the tenancy agreement it says it will take no longer then ten days to sort.They can gladly take your money at start, but when it come to getting it back a complete nighmare. When your bond is supposed to be protected by another company.Definitely give this estate agent a very wide birth, unprofessional inside and out i honestly dont know how they keep going with all negative reviews on their web page.Yes they send a reply but same old samw old were sorry where having a sytem turn around" they honestly dont know how to look after tennants.Wouldnt recommend to any body. Not even worth 1 star for the review."

I paid my holding deposit a month ago. Till now they haven't responded me back. When I call them for updates. They keep on ignoring with false talks like colleague will contact me, landlord haven't responded yet so and so. Really bad attitude from the customer service. I should be knowing that whether I should go for another options or should I be waiting for this or not. They never reply for mails as well.
