Nice little market with bits Bob's on fresh fruit stalls cloths an flowers nice to walk around

Fantastic market everybody was polite and friendly seem to be the only little town wakefield council hasn’t destroyed

Love Ossett market, fantastic clothing, fruit n veg, egg, fish, meat and cheese stalls. Great value for money. Also pay a visit to Spuddy Lilcous, they do a lovely range to jacket tatties, burgers, breakfast sarnies, washed down with tea or coffee in mugs if you are sitting there, or paper cups with cans of pop to take away.

A great little market is held twice a week in the town centre. A bit of everything for everyone. Within easy reach of the bus station and plenty of parking around.

We go almost every week, on Fridays, sometimes on Tuesday. Now that Wakefield Market has basically ruined itself by moving from it's old indoor site Ossett is an 'old-fashioned' street market and much better than the ramshakle arrangements for street selling in Wakefield. Highlights are the 'Crumbly Cheese' stall run by Andy & Son, Stuart's fish stall (often sold out by 1.00 pm), a cheerful cheap Veg and Fruit stall, several other Veg stalls, shoes, electrical goods stall, clothing etc etc. Also there are town shops around the periphery and (when it's finished) Ossett Town hall with several stalls which keep out of the rain. Don't miss it!!

Great little market and great prices.There is meat fish delicasensPet supplies fruit and veg clothes shoes and much much more not to mention the shops in the market square and cafe.Shopping the old fashioned way the way it should be.

Plenty of choices in fresh food ,clothing and DIY goods . Ample parking ,and some great shops that surround the market with plenty of refreshment cafés

Quite expensive, little choice, good local parking, some stallholders rather unfriendly,
