Very poor service.I had gone in to buy a length of timber. But they sold in 4 metre lengths which was too long for my car so i asked the assistant there if he would cut it. He said no that they don't do that. I pointed out that I'd been in the week before and the assistant there had been happy to cut it. It was the man's attitude and manner that I found unpleasant. He just walked away. Also had I known in advance I would have brought a saw and cut it myself. The guy was just very unhelpful.

The kitchen showroom is usually very nice...but is closed because of the corona virus pandemic...But the Diy hardware shop is nextdoor, & has a lot of good materials & tools. I spotted this absolutely tiny laser measure from Stanley. The size is only 32 x 62 x 18 mm, but the accuracy was only +/- 6mm over 9m, so... didn't buy.
