Argos Reading Calcot in Sainsbury's

Great little Argos, within Sainsbury's (just past Starbucks on the left hand side). Very handy, with great parking. Reserving items is the best idea, as they don't have as much stock as the larger retail park Argos'.

Never again Argos (especially this person LIVIO), no wonder, other companies like Amazon are better now. I have been a customer of Argos of 25 years and the reason I have been back there was their customer service. However, it does not seem to be like that anymore. I have not met any one like the manager LIVIO who has been so rude and does not know how to behave to a customer. I wonder if he can behave like this to a customer, then how is with his sub-bordinates. Perhaps I was the wrong colour he thinks he can treat me like that. Never again Argos, at least not until a person like Livio is there. You can see more reviews of him in below Really bad customer service and never been so insulted in my life.

I've always found this Argos helpful and attentive especially when collecting eBay parcels with opening times suit and plenty of car parking spaces to make ease with collections.Big shout out to ALL the Calcot team especially Becky and David!

Always great to collect my eBay parcels from here and get a few bits and bobs from the shop and have a mooch around. Staff always friendly, helpful and professional.Update do not get me wrong I love this place but around 8 parcels have gone missing from this store I think security needs to be stepped up as it wastes my time travelling here to collect parcels that have gone missing and defeats the object and convenience and having this delivered here.

Staff always so helpful in the Calcot store inside Sainbury's, Reading. Today Becky went above and beyond when they couldn't locate my TU order.

awful service, Lauren working at the till was so rude and awful! Refused my refund and told us we are not allowed a refund even though we had the order number and had spoken to customer services.She was nothing but rude and arrogant on a power trip!Told us to go to reading forbury Argos because they will Refund us there but she won’t!!!!However in the past I have returned several items with other members of staff and it’s all been fine, except from today ! She shouldn’t be allowed to talk to customers the way she did!

David was really helpful throughout my whole visit to Argos in Calcot, from the ordering, advising, and going the extra mile on my new phone being set up correctly. Thank you David , will be using this store again

Google location is wrong. Sending me 25 miles in the wrong direction to a different Argos store. 50 mile round trip. Wasted fuel. Wasted time. Staff at both locations are stroppy, and clearly fed up with having to apologize for it, as this happens all the time""

Very handy having this inside Sainsbury's as we live very local. A lot of the time you can reserve and either collect instantly if the item is stocked, or after 4pm same day if the item isn't in stock. Worst case next day. Also very useful to get eBay items delivered to if you aren't going to be home to receive it! Excellent addition to Sainsbury's!

I bought a Thermos from this branch and went to return it the next day because the lid doesnt fit well to which my wife didnt like it. I went to the branch to refund the item and then this guy' LIVION' tells me he can't do it as the package was a bit ripped. How about you have default product here? It was just a tiny rip. I requested him several times and even asked him to open and see it for himself if the lid would close well and tell me if its working to which he simply denied. How can you just ignore the problem. He should have atleast tried to identify the problem. Cant believe they have people with this attitude working in customer service. He could have have looked into it, opened the package checked it to see it . He could have also requested for exchange or even a gift card. There is plenty of ways to resolve a problem. My question is '' How can you be the face of the company with that attitude''. When you put on a company's uniform you represent the company values, ethics , brand. If you cant add value or standard to the company you work for . Plz dont lower it.
