Great place for families. Tractor up and down as my grandson loves the tractor ride otherwise great wee walk down from the farm to the car park. They are missing a trick with not having another play area and somewhere for snacks and a juice up at the farm and maybe a couple more benches. Minor details, well worth a visit.

Great food, quick and friendly service and very accommodating for a Sunflower Lanyard wearer.We hadn't booked but they made the effort to squeeze us in, but definitely book beforehand!

Excellent experience of country life. Unfortunately I remember a lot of the exhibits when they were working on a family farm!A fantastic place to bring children for a day of fun.

Lovely place to take kids. There are lambs and calfs, piglets. My granddaughter had a great time. Plus she loved the ride up to the farm

A great family day out. So much to see with improved children's play area, museum, cafeteria, tractor ride . If you are a National Trust member, you get in for free.....but the grandchildren could cost you a bit in the wonderful gift shop!Pigs, sheep, cows and chickens to see close up, depending on the time of year, also a wee pen of calves as well as the preserved farmhouse

Was at kittochside farm today with my sister and granddaughter Eva. We had a lovely time and the staff on the farm were very helpful. Eva loved running around and meeting the animals.Will definitely be back.

Once again, we had a great time at the Rural. It was a terrible day, but the tractor still went up to the farm the house is open again, which is lovely, to see. Sooty & Sweep(the cats)are a family favourite, but the 5 week old calves were just gorgeous. Back at the museum, we did the winter trail, great fun. Had a mooch in the gift shop, bought a couple of things, but it is a little pricey. Finished the day off with a hot choc/tea in the cafe, great. As always the staff at reception, in the cafe & up at the house are so so nice, & informative. Lovely people. Visit this unique place, u will be so glad u did, not matter what age u are.
