I must say that that Hamza and Mohammed at Bolton station are two of the nicest and most helpful train service personnel that I have come across in my day. Many thanks to the both of them and many thanks to Bolton station for accomodating my journey to Preston

One young woman Northern worker on platform 5. Very rude very ignorant. A dispatcher I think. Told me to put my bike on the bike carriage. There wasn't one so she is obviously stupid as well.

Every time I come to use Bolton train station it always seems to be closed for some reason or another I even checked online to make sure it was open and they failed to update their site to infor it was under construction

good and clean interchange with hygienic toilets but sometimes rude drivers. Elevators always in good conditions and good access for disabled. Intercoms weren't always working however and buses aren't always on time; sometimes overcrowded. The train staff are friendly.The information desk isn't always open or having a lot of assistants but when they do they are very friendly and informative.

The station is cold and no where the town centre.On a bank holiday the public toilets are locked until 10am. The disabled toilet could not be accessed using radar key because some bright spark added another lock.
