Roundwood Hall Golf Club

If you're a beginner or an older person who likes golf but not 18 holes this is for you. You can have a leisurely round without being pushed. The course is well maintained in very lovely surroundings and is not too challenging

Played Roundwood today for the first time in 4 years.I didn't book a tee time before so had to call the owner to play. He gave me the number to get through the gate to get onto the course and told me I could pay anytime during the day by bank transfer. Very trusting and very helpful indeed. Great little course very well kept and a good test for any golfer. Enjoyed my time there and will be back very soon.

For obvious reasons been a while since I last played. A perfect short game to get back into the swing of things. I've always loved it having played it for a decade or more and it's wonderful to be back.The booking system is very simple. The Pheasants are pretty and chilled.I do miss a hello from the staff but totally understand keeping the costs down.If you want a really lovely walk, with some genuinely well thought out holes and obvious work to keep this little gem going, give it your best shot.

Fantastic value and a decent test for all golfers not just beginners or the elderly. Narrow fairways, testing rough, superb greens with some serious gradients to consider. When the wind blows makes it even more challenging. Hope it stays open in the future.

A good course with a varied selection of intermediate pitch and putt holes. Some of the holes are a little unforgiving with the rough consuming a number of balls, but with a keen eye you'll probably leave with more balls you came with. A couple of longer irons are required for the longer holes. A tad more TLC would see it become a more enjoyable experience but the setting is lovely with lots of nature and nice views around.

Good relaxed course to get back into the swing of things, but greens are super rough, to a point I found putting almost impossible. However, this is clearly reflected in the low price.

Worst course me and my brother have played. It's like they given up the greens dreadful and fairways the grass is to long so you nearly playing in rough all the time. No one there to meet you , just left scorecards on what was the shop.
