The Fox Tavern
It's just had a refurb and turned into a bar and grill. Ignore old reviews, as it did used to be a dive, but is a different place now. The food is extremely nice and good value. And they still have a bar section, with a pool table, so something for everyone. Will be going again.

Large dining area with plenty of tables. Food ordered at the bar and prepared fresh to order.Food excellent & tasty, with generous portions at a very reasonable price.Ordered too much, but able to take leftovers home.Surprisingly very quiet for a Friday night.Would recommend and go again.

I liked the friendliness of the staff with me and the children. It seemed like a good environment for kids. I ordered shrimp for me it was good but if I went there again I wouldn't order it for the price I don't think it's worth it (at least for me as I'm a seafood fan). I loved the gin.

Brilliant pub and so welcoming, toilets are clean and staff are so polite. The food is amazing and since Bev and Phil have taken over they are spot on. Always go for the meat raffles & quiz nights. Love it there.

Went there on Sunday to see what it was like after the refurb and ended up going back Monday as well.It certainly isn't anything like the old Fox, it's been totally refurbed, staff are friendly and welcoming.The restaurant is separated from the bar area, so people just wanting a drink can go and sit in the bar listen to music and have a game of pool.The food quality is superb.The meat in the curries just melts in your mouth, it's so tender.Good price for the quality of food.I will be returning again.I highly recommend that you try this place.

A recently renovated Indian/Nepalese with a pub atmosphere. The food here is amazing and they do not skimp on quantity (you definitely get your money worth). Plenty of vegetarian options and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Hygiene is also not an issue. Will be returning as a regular customer.

Stuck with this pub when it reopened and I’m glad I did. Manager and all his staff are excellent. Decent beer, decent prices and the food is the best in the area. Weekly visit for us, love the place.

Great place. Recently refurbished and it's really nice inside. Thatchers was a great pint.... Or 2! The food was lush and spot on. The claypot was really tasty and the lamb fell apart it was so soft. The mixed grill was loads for 2. The sheek kebab was a bit spicy for my taste but I still ate it! Will come back on a nice cold when we need a good feed and a warm!
