Disappointing range of equipment but so impressed with the care of the reptiles , how they can make any profit even stay in business is beyond me, the snakes are heated with ceramics , simply because heat mats are not acceptable for them as they can suffer horrific burns being cold blooded. Great place

Highly displeased as I was here earlier today to buy a Chameleon, the guy in the shop didn't realise that i'd done a lot of research and tried to tell me that I needed to buy a whole new setup from them, despite the fact that the setup he wanted to sell me can infact cause illness in this species.Disapointed that they were more concerned about selling more and more stuff to me than the welfare of their animals, won't be going here againIf you decide to go, take everything they say with a pinch of salt and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH before you buy!

Absolutely a brilliant shop the staff are so friendly and helpful and the animals are well looked after xx I always keep coming back wish you was on my doorstep I so have to travel to get to you but it's well worth the driveKeep up doing what you do x

a few reviews have said things like 'the guy in the shop didn't realise that i'd done a lot of research and tried to tell me that I needed to buy a whole new setup from them'....the same thing happened to me, i had done weeks of research before setting out to buy my first pet snake, a ball python. That day i had driven all the way to rotherham to pick up a vivarium i had bought, on the way back we went to buy the snake. the guy there said a lot of things contradicting the reliable sources of info i had read and told me what i had bought, was no good and to spend over £100 on the setups they were selling...this caused me a lot of stress as i stuck with the vivarium i had and ignored what the guy was saying, i was worried about my new snake for weeks and continued researching which just confirmed that i was doing everything right and that all the prep before i obtained the snake was perfectly fine. 1 year on, my ball python 'Jiggle' is happy as ever and i don't regret one thing.They sell great things, the shop is impressive and the animals they sell are all good and healthy but the customer service and what happened to me, and from the looks of it other people, really lets it down.if i ever buy an animal from them again, i will make it a point to make it extremely clear to the staff that i know what i'm doing and i'm not buying one of their set ups.

Same thing that happened to me did my research, bought a chameleon to which they advised me that the cooler end of the tank should be 40C which seem abit extreme for the chameleon species I had. They don't seem to want to know you unless you know your stuff, I know a business has to make money but they are going the wrong way about it, bad advice is the worst.

Total time waster! Asked the guy a couple of months ago whether he had water dragons, he said yes but only two. I asked what viv I'd get with a setup and he quoted 3ft x 1ft x 1ft which is way to small once the lizard is fully grown. He offered to have a custom viv made with measurements I'd prefer, which were 5x5x2, told me he has someone else working on it and never got back to me. Tried emailing, calling and even went into the store! In which he then proclaimed he had sent me a message, didn't have his so-called notes with price, took my number and never got back to me. Needless to say he didn't have any water dragons either.
