They have some very nice things donated, as I've seen people walk through the doors with quality and/or expansive looking items. Not sure if it has been approved by the regional manager but I'm assuming most likely by the store manager, staff get first dibs on goods. Some staff aren't approachable or polite. It's nice to know, they can have 'bring your problems to work day'. Don't believe they got the memo on professionalism and good customer service though.I purchased a really nice floor lamp from here. Had my eagle eyes not seen it at the back of the store and my claim to it not staked, I very much doubt it would have made it to the shop floor, like MANY of the good quality items donated.Management: Do better.Employees and/or volunteers: Stop being vultures and hoarding the nice things for yourselves. And for F sake: Stop being lazy. Keep the footwear in pairs (as you receive them) and use bands to keep them together. Not everyone has a good back! Calling health and safety...

The staff sells items without pricing, determining prices based on arbitrary criteria such as how much they can extract from the customer or the salesman's mood, which is a bad practice. Rude management and staff have been highlighted in numerous customer reviews. It's disheartening that Bernardos seems to prioritise customer service too little.

It's quite a big shop, so lots of room for all sorts of things you no longer want or need. I donated some collector's plates, plus some books. The lady at the counter was very nice and cheerful.

Staff are so nice. Much nicer than paid staff in regular shops. A real credit. Also lovely and easy to drop off stock to thanks to the easy pull up car park. We always use this shop to donate to and usually come away with an item or two for some great prices. The little kid’s toy display is well placed by the till! Always tempts my kids to spend their pocket/chore money. Thanks for all your hard work guys.

It's been an absolute pleasure being a volunteer in the Quinton donation centre for the past 3 years. We have amazing customers, donors and everyone here works towards our common goal of helping raise funds for the crucial children's services that Barnardo's provide. As you can imagine a DC (With it's various responsibilities, such as supplying other stores, retailing direct to the public and sorting of bulk donations) can be quite a challenge BUT it's one we all do our very best to meet with a 'can-do' approach and a positive attitude. We are constantly evolving, listening to new ideas / feedback and acting on them. We've just undergone a huge reorganisation of the store and now our bargains are even easier to find! We NEVER want our customers or donors to leave unhappy and will always go the extra mile to accomodate them in any way possible (Carrying items to and from cars, giving advice and recommendations and generally having lots of banter!). I can honestly say that everyone in this donation centre gives their absolute best!

Horrible Disgusting place in every way, robbing the poor people in the name of children's charity, managment are getting rich & also the paid staff, one of the most expensive charity shops, what people donating dont realise u r paying for there wages not helping the poor only a small percentage goes to the needy if that, why do u think charity shops are booming all over, donate to a place where 100% of the donations go to the needy

Incredibly rude staff - one man and woman who work there - and I will not be donating there again. The man rolled his eyes when he saw we were donating and there was not even a thank you to my children for donating books.

Staff are kind and very helpful. Helped deliver a heavy item to my home with a smile. Good bargains that goes to a good charity. And good with kids. Thank you.
