During a private medical it was found I had the symptoms of a leaky valve. During tests it was found to be my aortic valve. I was referred to Mr S Billings. Excellent straight talking surgeon whom carried out the procedure on the 12th September. I can only say from arriving on the 11th and being so well looked after by everyone a fantastic dedicated team from the cleaning of the department, the excellent food superb nursing staff the the Doctors and of course a big thank you to Mr Billing.

The staff here saved my life. There is no doubt about it.From the excellent paramedics rushing me straight to the heart ward to within ten minutes of being on the ward, I was in the catheter lab having a stent in.The care was excellent, the staff kind, caring and respectful.When the NHS gets it right, they get it spot on perfect. Massive thank you for my second shot at life.
