Trenderway Weddings and Events

If you are thinking of getting married here, DO IT!Out of all the venues we visited, Trenderway were by far the most friendly and accommodating. Unlike other venues, from the first visit, we didn't feel like we were being shown round a wedding factory. Instead, we were painted a picture of what OUR wedding day could look like, with all staff we came across taking the time to chat.The grounds are stunning for photos and for guests to explore. There are good contingencies if the weather isn't great on the day and the venue is really conducive to all guests being involved and comfortable. i.e. the balcony is a good place for those who require a seat, but can still see the dancing in the evening. Similarly, the doors into the marquee (with open sides), provide a smooth transition, if people want some air.Our date was in June and the venue looked STUNNING due to the greenery, foliage and blooms that time of year. However, we first viewed it in November and were sold.Cathryn (Events Manager) is absolute magic. A true professional but extremely personable. From the beginning, her communication was quick, efficient and helpful. She even stepped in with Cornwall Council when we were having a problem getting a registrar on the date. On the day, even the guests commented how excellent Cathryn was and how much she had it all under control! I couldn't agree more, having Cathryn there on the day meant everything ran seamlessly (or if it didn't, she just sorted it, with no fuss!).Catering and suppliers are not included, but this works if you want to add all your own personal style and touches and Cathryn is always on hand with a list of suppliers to try if you get stuck!The staff on the day (and weekend) are also super friendly. Special shout out to the Chef who did an amazing breakfast for us and the other guests on site.Highly recommended!

Fabulous venue for weddings and holidays. Cottages or rooms with so many extra personal touches. Fabulous breakfast although they forgot to get vegan food in for 2 guests even though they had acknowledged it, but we are all human. Such an intimate and perfect place and there's even alpacas and a lake if you need to get far from the madding crowd.

We got married at Trenderway back in early May. WOW what an incredible day we had. It really was our dream wedding. Cathryn and the team made everything so straightforward and run like clockwork.We opted for the three night package with catering by Divine Dining (who did us the most amazing food!). We would recommend this to anyone - it was so lovely not to rush around before the wedding and after. To make the event a little holiday for us and our guests. The venue was beautiful and there was so much flexibility with how we could decorate. We opted to get married inside and it is a good job we did, as it was a raining - however this was just an added to our special memories of the day.We wish we could relive the whole weekend all over again and if we did, we wouldn't change a thing! A really beautiful venue for a wedding or in this case a small live gig.

Great b&b, stayed in the Meadow Barn which was fabulous. Had a great view down to the lake and top facilities. Staff and breakfast excellent.

Visited Trenderway farm for a friend's wedding. What a beautiful venue!!The setting is stunning and very peaceful, the buildings perfectly renovated and decorated and the staff we great!There was even a dog to greet all the guests (I assume from one of the farm buildings)!
