A really lovely class with a wonderfully calming atmosphere. The babies love exploring the different activities and I particularly loved learning about the Montessori theory with Emma’s weekly talks.

Love love love Monty’s! Emma is lovely and creates a calming environment with beautiful toys that babies and children can learn and thrive in. Not over stimulating like a lot of the classes available now. Just as relaxing and educational for parents, with time for a cuppa and chat about a weekly topic surrounding Montessori.

Absolutely love the Monty's classes. Well thought-out, calm and interesting spaces for little ones to explore. The groups are welcoming, and it's so nice to go to a baby group which doesn't leave little ones overstimulated and strung out afterwards! You can really see how it caters for little ones with how engaged they all are, and calm they are in the session. Highly recommend!

Long review below, if you don't have time to read it all - it's a 10/10 from me and if I had to pick one group to go to... this would be it, without hesitation!Fantastic baby/toddler/child group. Have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Emma, Sophie and Loren! My LO is not the only one who has learnt so much from these wonderful ladies and their groups. They promote engaging toys relating to the age of your child without the need for all the bells and whistles most children's toys have now (you know those really irritating toys that play the same tune repeatedly that drives you to insanity!), they focus on the child learning from and engaging in real life, age appropriate, activities such as pouring a cup of water, washing and clearing up after themselves, spreading cream cheese on a cracker, cutting Cucumber, washing toy cars, animals & dolls, as well as looking at letter formations, depth perception, linking shadows and shapes, understanding natural growth (seed to flower) etc.It is truly such a wonderful environment, where parents get to chat to other parents in a safe environment for the children, with a lovely cuppa and get to watch their child explore the room and all it has to offer.I mentioned previously that it's not just learning for my LO, I have personally learnt so much from attending these groups, doing a course on toddler age (tantrums etc) and how to take on the difficulties parents face when their child hits toddler years - in a gentle and understanding way. I appreciate this approach isn't for everyone, but it's perfect for me. Chatting with Emma and the other ladies, its great to hear reassurance that you don't only have the option of saying 'no' 500 different times in 500 different ways, that if you cuddle your child you're not spoiling them, if your child doesn't 'share' it's not a negative reflection on you or your child - it's not a part that has developed in their brain yet, and many other things society had told us our child MUST be doing at such a young age which makes them a 'good' child.I honestly think if you can only attend one baby/toddler/child group, this one would be mine, 1000 times over, without hesitation!

I started taking my twin boys to Emma's Monty's class at 17 months old, they absolutely LOVED it and I feel they grew up and developed so much in that time and I got so much Montessori inspiration from Emma and the class, I would thoroughly recommend - the best baby/toddler class I've been to!
